Summary: This is a great lens case. It seems sturdy and able to withstand some juggling around. I use this for the canon 70-300 mm lens with the lens hood. The only thing I would say that I wish I had known about this lens case is that it is a little wider than I expected it to be. Other than that, great lens case. The whole series is a good thing to invest in.
Summary: Currently, this case is attached to my LowePro Off-Trail 2. Until I get the 70-200 Nikon lens to put in it, the case functions as an all round storage container. I can put in all the small things, remotes, camera rain coats, swiss army knife, etc, that would normally fill vest or jacket pockets. Everything fits and I have everything I need at hand. Great for that afternoon hike and I don't have to figure just what I'm going to leave at home.
Summary: I ordered this lens case on line and by the time I turned around, it had arrived at my home. I have only one camera body and so I need a way to quickly switch lenses without endangering expensive equipment. This lens case did the trick. It has a very strong velcro strip that slips onto a belt without having to loosen the belt (and lose the rest of my equipment!).
Summary: I purchase the case because of the description that it is for 70-300. Well I end up buying the Lowepro 2 because this one was too big for my Nikon 70-300 VR. Read my review on the Lowepro 2 and I recommend that one for the Nikon 70-300 VR owners.
Summary: This case is well made, lightweight, and works really well with the S&F #9 light belt. I used it for a 16-35 and it was a little tight with the hood, but still worked if I didn't zip it. The 24-105 fit well.
Summary: Another well built Lowepro product. These guys got it right. Somewhat big for the lens I bought it for but it's the smallest one the lens will fit in. Not the product's fault. Maybe they should build a 2.5 or 2.75. Solid build, quality material, zippers work great. Whenever I need a photo case, bag, or pack, I go with Lowepro.
Summary: I bought the case for a Canon 70-200 f/4 lens, which I store with hood reversed and tripod mount attached. In this configuration, the fit is quite good, however the case size would be excessive for the lens alone. The padding is thick and makes the case rather bulky, but effective in protecting the lens.
