Bulky and Awkward

Lowepro beltpack review

Baglady, B&H Photo
18 August 2010
  • Excerpt: The bag leans forward when loaded with a camera/lens. You can adjust this to some extent, but it makes the bag uncomfortable. The bag is very strong and well constructed. It did not have enough room to put your wallet or other things.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Not enough room, Too Small, Zipper gets stuck

Uncomfortable

HiMike, B&H Photo
28 July 2010
  • Excerpt: I ordred this to try to carry a large DSLR and a lens or flash in a way that would spare my back compared to a backpack or shoulder strap bag. It sounded great and empty it fit great. But when conservatively loaded it tried to twist around its belt and the bottom of the pack dug into my back in a most uncomfortable way.
  • Pros: Easily Accessible Equipment, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Cumbersome, Uncomfortable Fit

Disappointing

Greg, B&H Photo
30 June 2009
  • Excerpt: I have always used Lowepro bags exclusively and been very pleased with them, but the Inverse 100 AW Beltpack was a big disappointment. Not nearly as sturdily built as I am used to and the strap that comes with it is so flimsy as to be useless. I will have to buy another to use instead.
  • Pros: Lightweight
  • Cons: Uncomfortable Strap

Not quite big enough

Snaptophobic, WEX
8 December 2013
  • Summary: I was looking for a "bumbag" style bag in which I could carry my EOS 7D with a lens, another lens, plus the various odds and ends I usually carry about on a stroll with the camera. This bag seemed to fit the bill nicely.I found it would fit the 7D with a lens, but not with a battery grip. So far, no surprises. Squeezing another lens in the bag was difficult, and I also found I couldn't find a safe and convenient pocket for the spare battery.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Cumbersome, Hard To Access Equipment, Too Small
