Great backpack for landscape & wildlife shooters

Chip, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: I used my new Flipside 400AW for the first time this past weekend. The bag is big enough for all your gear, including the ability to configure it to hold you body with a 400mm or 600mm lens attached. But this pack really shows its strength and unique design once you get in the field.

Excellent bag for hiking!

Natalie, B&H Photo
5 April 2016
  • Excerpt: I just spent 10 days exploring AZ, UT & NV and this bag was wonderful to have!! I did a lot of hiking and compared to other bags I've tried this one was very comfortable with ample amount of shoulder and back padding. The reason this was important was because I was carrying a heavy load.

  • Excerpt: Purchased it couple of months ago to carry my Nikon D810 and D7200 along with my other lenses and flash, hiked for about 4 miles in Smoky Mountains and still felt very comfortable carrying all my gear. It has great room and can easily carry 4 to 5 lenses along with two camera bodies.

Nice Backpack for larger DSLR

  • Excerpt: I have 2 of the 300aw's and needed some more space for a D800 and 3 lens. I have one of 300aw with my film cameras and the other with pinhole cameras. This way I can just grab one and go without repacking for the day. Easy to use and I like the way it opens from the back.

needs improvement

  • Excerpt: I like the fact that this case is very configurable in layout. I did not like the fact the it opens from the back side. This would not be so bad but when unzipped the flap is not flexible enough ( due to padding and a plastic sheet beneath the pads.) to stay open.
