Excerpt: Excellent if you are trying to to easily carry your gear for a hike through the woods or through the city. It is great construction, durable and comfortable to wear. The two little complaints I would have would be when unzipping the bag and opening the flap to load or unload, the flap wants to shut. I also found it was a little tight fitting everything I was bringing (Base, flash, two pocketwizards, extra lens, remote trigger and backup batteries) for a photo shoot.
Excerpt: This bag accomplishes the goals for which it was purchased. It's a secure, rigid backpack, and i like that the zippers are concealed against my back. It is heavier than i expected though, and the 'flip' with the belt strap is, in my experience, useless. All told, this is a great travel bag, but I don't know if i'd use it to haul my gear out on location.
Excerpt: Overall this is a very well thought out bag. The interior is easy to organize and offers good protection. I really like that the bag opens to the inside, making it easy to place the bag on the ground and get your camera out. It also prevents the bag from being opened while you have it on your back, just in case someone tries to open it.
Excerpt: On the positive side the backpack comfortably held the following equipment: Nikon D7100 with attached Nikon 80-400mm VR lens, with hood reversed on lens body; Tamron 24-70mm lens, with hood reversed on lens body; extra batteries, SD cards, shutter release, lens cleaning supplies, etc.
Excerpt: With four kids involved in high school activities, I often find myself in relatively confined seats in a gym or auditorium. This is a great bag to carry my camera in because I can comfortably keep it down at my feet. The back-side opening still allows me to just unzip the top of the bag to pull my camera out for the shots I want to take and then slip it back into the bag quickly.
Pros: Easily Accessible Equipment, Strong Construction
Excerpt: Based on the photo, I thought this was going to be a low profile, sleek bag. When I got it, it looks like a turtle shell. The harder outer protective layer extends all the way along the outside of the bag. This all means that if you were traveling, it would be immediately apparent that you have a giant camera bag on your back. When it comes to traveling, this bag presents another conundrum.
Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Roomy, Strong Construction
