Great Bag

OP, B&H Photo
  • Excerpt: I've used this bag since 2010. It held my gripped T2i, tripod, 2 primes, cards, cables & water bottle. On planes, it fit nicely under my seat. The features that sold me on the bag were the zippers being against your back for security & the strap & sling feature. It's dorky but works perfectly.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Too Small

It works for me

  • Excerpt: I use this product a few times a week. I use it mostly when I ride my bicycle on the various trails around the area. These trails give me more opportunities to find things to shoot that I wouldn't see from a road. It's light weight enough to be comfortable and it carries what I need. I also like the monopod holder on the back because my tripod is too big to carry on my back. The zippers are a little fussy but seem to be working better.

Just right

  • Excerpt: This backpack (Flipside 200) accommodates nicely my Canon 6D with 35mm, 50mm and 135mm primes. It feels comfortable for walks and bicycle trips. The construction is rugged and this backpack will last. Probably won't be sufficient if you intend to use it for anything bigger than 70-200. I was actually looking for a small backpack. I have no problem with accessing the equipment.

Excellent backpack.

  • Excerpt: I mostly use this for travel, and it turned out to be exactly what I wanted: Compact, Inconspicuous, and fast to work from. A sling might be quicker to access, but I doubt that it would be as comfy to carry. I do wish it had a larger compartment for misc stuff, but oh well. Here's what I can carry in this little bag at once: Canon 5D2 with 24-105mm L f4, 70-200mm L f4, 85mm f1.8, 14mm L 2.8, 550 EX flash, cards, extra battery!
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Inconspicious, Roomy, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Tiny Misc Compartment

Good but small.

Birds1, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: This bag is well built and provides good protection for the camera equipment inside, but it is small. With my camera, mid-range zoom, and Canon 70-300mm f4-5.6 USM lens inside there isn't any room left for my flash. Storing lenses with wide hoods may require some creativity. There is room for an extra battery, extra cards and a few other small items. I am a little concerned that the hard bottom of the bag could be hard on my back if I carried it for long periods.
  • Pros: Strong Construction
  • Cons: Too Small
