Works for me.

  • Excerpt: I have only taken this out a couple of times but it has served me well. Often my DSLR sits in my camera case and winds up being difficult to pull out quickly. The zippered access panel that opens up for the DSLR storage compartment is very easy to access with the bag swung to the front on one strap. The top half of the pack is designed for non photographic items- not padded or divided.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment

lightweight and surprisingly roomy.

  • Excerpt: I haven't field tested it too much yet, but so far so good and sturdy. It looks small from the outside, but I was able to fit every lens I take when I'm hiking. That includes a 70-200 f4, 17-40 f4, and a 50 f1.4. I can fit my T2i with battery grip and the 7-200 on it. I didn't use two of the dividers, so I put them in the very bottom to give the lower lens an extra layer of padding.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy, Strong Construction, Two Compartments

Lots of Room for the Money

Greg M, B&H Photo
21 July 2013
  • Excerpt: I recently purchased this backpack after an exhaustive search at the B&H brick and mortar store. It replaces a sling that that had become too small. In the camera section of the backpack I can fit my Canon T3, 430EX II flash, 18-55mm and 55-250 kit lenses, 10-22mm, 100mm Macro and 35mm f/2 Cannon lenses. The upper section is also very roomy and can be used to carry personal items while hiking, which a lot of backpacks don't accommodate.
  • Pros: Roomy, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Rigid

Well Built, Decent Capacity

Mark, B&H Photo
12 July 2013
  • Excerpt: Right now mine is carrying 2 enthusiast level DSLRs, 3 lenses, and accessories comfortably with room to spare. It's well padded and seems to hold everything in place well. It has typical high Lowepro quality and is a well thought out design allowing easy access. It has a place for everything, and I can't wait to take it on more extended shooting trips.

Fast and convenient

Bonesandjones, B&H Photo
5 July 2013
  • Excerpt: Still new so no comment of durability, but it appears to be build solidly. I love how quick and easy it is to pull out the camera to take the fast shot. The backpack style is so much easier to carry around for hikes or longer photo shoots than the single strap (of which I owned 2 different styles)It has several strong adjustable "cubicles" in the bottom part of the backpack that stores my bulky flash, camera with a lense attached, a spare lense, my larger remote timer...
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy
  • Cons: NONE YET
