Not What I Expected

Williams Visual, B&H Photo
2 September 2014
  • Excerpt: I hate to be too hard on this bag because it is cheap. The problem is it feels cheap. I'm a die hard Lowepro guy and usually stick with the Pro AW series, but I have several inexpensive older Nova bags that have been great and really held up well. I don't think this bag has the same level of construction or features as even the old bargain Nova bags. This thing is really boxy as well, which is fine if you're expecting that.
  • Pros: Good Protection
  • Cons: Not Enough Pocket Room, Too Bulky, Uncomfortable Strap

Solid Messenger Bag

Corey the Filmmaker, Adorama
5 August 2014
  • Excerpt: This is a great bag. It fits everything I need in a well laid out manner. There could be some more pockets added for extra stuff. There's one issue I have. You can fit a 13" Macbook Pro inside. However, you have to remove the case if you have one. Otherwise the laptop won't fit. Other than that it's a decent messenger bag. I haven't had it for too long but it seems like it will last a while.
  • Pros: Good Protection, Lots Of Pockets And Features, Stylish
  • Cons: Not Enough Pockets, Tight Fit For Laptop

My 13" Apple MacBook Pro (retina) fits perfectly in the padded slot just behind the rest of the gear.

Sizable and low-key

The Traveler, B&H Photo
9 June 2014
  • Excerpt: I needed a bag for traveling that could fit a good amount of gear but not scream "photography stuff inside!" After scouring the Internet, I decided on the Event Messenger bag. The key points are its spaciousness and camouflage. This just looks like a normal bag and doesn't draw any attention to you as a photographer.
  • Pros: Lots Of Pockets And Features, Rugged, Spacious, Stylish
  • Cons: Uncomfortable Strap

Great light duty bag.

  • Excerpt: Great bag.I use this for traveling with only the necessary equipment. I can fit my 5D with 24-105 4L, 5D MkII with 17-40 4L and a 70-200 4L unmounted. and still have room for 2 chargers plus the front pockets for cards, cables, etc.The only minor drawback is the clasp closure it is cumbersome to open and close the back withouttaking it off your shoulder.
  • Pros: Good Protection, Lots Of Pockets And Features, Stylish
  • Cons: Not Weatherproof
