Summary: Fantastic pack for serious outdoor use. It actually floats with gear inside. The insert pod can be removed and inserted with the cameras and lenses inside, which was helpful. The only problem for me, as a 5'5" woman, is that every adjustment is pulled in tight to fit my frame. While we laughed at all the extra strapping for large people, the pack just works for me.
Pros: Great outdoors features, Perfect for water travel, Strong Construction, Well Padded
Summary: I got this bag to hold up to the unpredictability of the rain forest. It has held up through drenching downpours, and claims to float- but I am a little nervous to try dunking it in the river. I love that this bag has a separate area to hold essentials like a rain jacket, lunch and a small lap-top if necessary. I choose the Rover after playing with the other dryzone bags in a local camera shop because of the size.
Summary: The bag is very well built and usefull for day trips or when in water. I kayak/raft and this bags lower part truely is waterproof. The zipper requires care and lubrication on a regular bases but it isn't difficult. I haven't had an issue yet but have cleaning supplies since sand/gravel in the waterproof zipper have caused problems for others I had read. For taking valuable equipment on the river and side hikes this is an awsome bag and I love the overall design.
