Summary: I got this because I fly with a dSLR (Nikon D5000)and a laptop (MacBook Pro). I saw a very good deal on a new one of these through Amazon Marketplace, and so I pounced on it. It will carry my camera with the 35mm f/1.8 lens attached, but any larger dSLR or lens wouldn't fit.
Summary: I got this bag becuase I ride a motorcycle as my main mode of transport and wanted a bag I could ride comfortably with. It does the job perfectly in this respect. The back portion of the bag is soft and even though the bag seems to stick out pretty far I dont find that it weighs down on my back even...
Pros: Comfortable, Affordable, Lots of space, Durable
Cons: Camera compartment can be hard to open and close when bag is full
Summary: I always take my 17" Powerbook & my 30D with a couple of lenses and an external flash with me on my trips whether it be vacation or work. I needed to find something that would fit all my gear and be easy to deal with in the security checkpoints in the airports and this was perfect.
Summary: I always used an over-the-shoulder bag in the 20+ years of carrying a computer for work. Plenty of room for all my gadgets including computer, power source, digital camera, palm camcorder, cell phone, memory stick, business cards and tablet.
Summary: I got this for my son who is an art student in college and carries his computer around everywhere. He rerally likes the slot for his mac and the unique compartment at the base of the pac for his art supplies. I guess the compartment at the bottom was intended for cameras.
Summary: I am a professional photographer and have been looking for a high quality camera bag for a while. I was so surprised at the amount of storage this bag has and it is very comfortable to wear when it's full.
