  • Excerpt: And, isolates a spare battery. Built in rain fly is (foolishly) too small.

Nice, but...

21 June 2013
  • Excerpt: The design is good, as you'd expect from Lowepro, but the camera case is not QUITE big enough for a Canon G15. Wish it were, because I really liked the design.

Compact, well-made and feature-packed!

  • Excerpt: I bought the Apex 20 AW for my new Sony RX100 and could not be more pleased with this pouch. It's very compact yet well-padded, attaches easily and securely to my belt, fits the RX100 with Franiec grip "like a glove", with just enough space for a spare battery and SD card in separate internal compartments, plus it comes with an integrated deployable all-weather cover. A simply great little pouch that looks and feels even better up close than the product images.
  • Pros: Compact, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Quality Materials, Well Padded
  • Cons: None - For Me At Least

Love Lowepro

Adorama
26 March 2013
  • Excerpt: this is a well designed case that is small enough to match the portability of the camera, but with divided compartments so it can hold a few other things. The all weather protection is great too. Very happy with this purchase.
  • Pros: Compact, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Small But Roomy Enough, Well designed, Well-made, Well Padded

Good pouch with a couple of niggles

17 October 2012
  • Excerpt: Bought this to use with a Canon S100, for which it's a very good fit. In addition to the camera I always had an extra battery (a must with the S100) and memory card in it, as well as a mini-HDMI adapter. Materials and workmanship is top notch, and the built-in rain cover is handy. It also kept my S100 dent-free despite a few falls.
  • Pros: Compact, Well Built Quality, Well Padded
  • Cons: Inserting Camera Fiddly, Velcro Belt Loop

Best All Weather Bag

slik65, B&H Photo
2 August 2012
  • Excerpt: I only buy Lowepro bags because they are the best bags for the dollar made. The AW Apex series has two compartments which keeps the camera seperated from the extra battery and extra memory cards, but are right together so you have only one compartment to open. You have three different ways to carry your camera either on your belt purse strap or around your neck. I highly recomend this bag I have had everyone they make and have never had a problem with any of them.
  • Pros: Compact, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Stylish, Well Padded

Nice but a little confusing...

EOC_Jason, B&H Photo
10 July 2012
  • Excerpt: The build of this is pretty good, especially for the price. It fits my little camera (Panasonic FH25) perfect and has room to spare for other LITTLE bits (i.e. batteries or SD cards). The only confusing this is there's several loop locations and if BH didn't have a photo with the lanyard attached I probably wouldn't have put them where they should be. There's other little loops to where a person could accidently be holding it upside down.
