Excerpt: I have a Sony Nex 5 camera that I usually carry with the large 18x200 zoom lens. I wanted a bag that was compact but would also fit the camera with this lens attached plus the flash and microphone. It all fits in there very nicely. The bag is a little big if I put one of the smaller lenses on the camera.
Pros: Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy, Strong Construction
Excerpt: I TRY A LOWEPRO FOR THE FIRST TIME, THIS ONE APEX 120 AW IS FINE FOR A SLR AND SOME SMALL ACCESORIES ONLY, NEVER TRY TO LOAD IT WHIT ANYTHING MORE BULKY, FINE IN THE FIELD AND GOOD DESIGN, THE ALL WEATHER COVER IS VERY USEFUL, I LIKE THE DESIGN TOO NICE BUT NOT FLASHY.
Excerpt: It is a shoulder and hand carry bag for most digital SLR cameras. Looks good outside with obvious good workmanship. Do read the dimensions carefully. At first I just looked at the picture and bought a Apex 100 and it was not big enough, so read the detail before you order and you will be happy about your purchase. I am.
Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded
Excerpt: I bought this hoping I could stash my SLR w/standard lens and 100 Macro in it - not quite big enough for that, but that's fine. It's got lots of pockets for accessories/manuals, etc. Seems to be very well constructed.
Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded
Summary: Been looking for a nice, compact bag to go with my walkaround kit. You know, for those moments when you want to have your dslr with you and NOT have to lug the rest of your gear around (e.g. going to the office, walking to the corner store, pub night, etc). So far, the Apex 120 fits the bill perfectly. This little bag holds a lot more than you think.
