Great Backpack

  • Summary: I received this pack for my birthday and am thouroughly enjoying it. I can easily fit my Nikon D60, two zoom lenses, and a few other small accesories in the camera section. The top storage area is roomier than I thought it would be and I have packed books, wallet, cell phone, IPod snacks etc and still have room for more. It is a great looking pack yet does not scream out "expensive gear inside-steal me!
  • Pros: Comfortable, Great-looking, Roomy
  • Cons: None yet

Research before you buy

  • Summary: Trips and holiday get-togethers, it started to drizzle and i realized how this backpack came with the shield protector, it came in very good use. It looks great and it have great room for everything I need. Althought one thing that gets me is no laptop slots, which is my fault for not gathering enough research about these backpacks, the 467 model of Kata wouldve been very nice.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Strong Construction

Great camera backpack, no waisted bulk.

  • Summary: I really like this backpack. It is compact and protects our gear well. What I love is that it does not scream out expensive gear and lets you carry your system in relative stealth. I can squeeze in a Nikon D300, with Nikon 24-70mm f2.8, Nikon 70-200 f2.8, Tokina 12-24mm f4.5, and a Sigma 50mm Micro lens, plus a few extra filters and other odds and ends. Yep those are all BIG cameras & lenses and I can squeeze the in. However the operative word is squeeze.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Strong Construction

Great backpack

10 April 2008
  • Summary: I am taking the backpack on a European trip where I will be photographing a wedding. Enough room for 2 bodies (1 with a lens), an additional lens and flash. The bottom could be a bit larger, but it seems to work and have enough padding. I like that it tips out so you can get to your gear easily. The top part has pockets for extra small gear (memory cards, batteries, filters, etc). And the main top part of the pack is great for putting a jacket, iPod and some food.

  • Summary: I agree with Benjii B comments. Perhaps I should have watched the videos on the LowePak before purchasing this item. I bought it because it was less cumbersome. It holds my Nikon D80 Zoom lens, smaller lens & flash, IPad and more.Pros: The camera appears to be easily accessible from the front pocket and I like the way it folds back in to the bag.
  • Pros: Adjustable Harness, Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Roomy, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Too Small
