Quality case for the rangefinder look

cnagappa, B&H Photo
25 August 2014
  • Excerpt: This is a high quality case that is suited for one of the three smaller X-series prime, the 18mm, 27mm and the 35mm without the hood attached. The supplied pouch is where you store the lens hood, and attaches to the camera strap. The top cover can stay attached to the camera when taking pictures by unfastening the center clasp at the bottom and flipping it backwards over the rear of the camera. The top cover will NOT fit over the 14mm, 23mm, 56mm or 60mm primes.
  • Pros: Comfortable Strap, Durable, Good Protection

Ken, B&H Photo
15 March 2013
  • Excerpt: This case is great for the Fuji X Pro 1. But it only works for the 18 & 35 MM lens. Its too bad the don't make a cover that will fit the 60mm & 18-55mm lens.
  • Pros: Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Supports Lens Well, Well Padded
  • Cons: Won't Fit The Larger Lens

XPro 1 Case

Jack, B&H Photo
25 November 2012
  • Excerpt: I really like this case. It fits perfectly, works with ease while protecting the camera, very well made and finished... Plus a cool retro look ! I hiked today about 10 miles in rough country , I kept the camera in the case for the entirety . With the magnetic catch , it easily flips open for photographic use . Not a bit of dust on the camera .
  • Pros: Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Supports Lens Well, Well Padded
  • Cons: Not Many Cons

Nice case but can't leave on lenshood

Des, B&H Photo
13 October 2012
  • Excerpt: Nice case but a huge disadvantage for me is that you cannot close it with the lenshood on the 35mm (which is "normal" focal length) lens. That was a bad surprise for me.
  • Pros: Easily Accessible Equipment

Completes the package

The Listener, B&H Photo
5 July 2012
  • Excerpt: Construction is first-rate. Openings are provided for all controls, but the case must be removed for access to the memory card, USB port, and tripod mount. Case may also be rendered unusable with certain lens options.

less-thatn-great design

ironcloudz, Crutchfield
4 June 2012
  • Summary: The trouble with this case is that there is not access to the battery/SD card and/or the USB access port without removing the case. Pretty lame and makes one wonder if the ones who design this ever attempted to use it.
  • Pros: well made and fit
  • Cons: no access to SD/battery OR USB

Nostalgia and Protection in one place!

Curly, B&H Photo
14 May 2012
  • Excerpt: Fantastic is the word that pulsates in my mind. The case is made of quality leather, perfectly hugs the contours of the X-Pro1, including the lens hood. The cover (flip-up portion) is detachable which leaves the X-Pro 1 body still in good hands allowing me to use the camera in an instant without grappling with the cover when I need the camera.
  • Pros: Compact, Durable, Good Protection, Lightweight, Nostalgic
  • Cons: Uncomfortable Strap

Cool but totally overpriced

DMC, WEX
20 December 2013
  • Summary: My wife bought this for me as a gift - otherwise I would not have paid the exorbitant price - it does look really cool on the camera and certainly helps make it feel more protected, but totally overpriced for about £5 worth of leather. Also the small circular case that comes with it is only big enough to accommodate the body cap, lens cap and hood, but not any lens. This is a real luxury - should be about £30 max
  • Pros: Looks Cool
  • Cons: Over Priced
