Perfect base for a soft bag

L, B&H Photo
1 December 2014
  • Excerpt: I like to carry a Vera Bradley backpack because it's so light, and doesn't look like a camera bag. However, even though I use an insert from another camera bag, I had concerns because the bottom of the backpack didn't have additional support. Now I no longer have to worry. This bottom board fits perfectly and provides the added structure and protection I desired.
  • Pros: Durable, Lightweight

  • Excerpt: Domke makes excellent quality products. Made in the USA! The hardest part is deciding which Domke bag will suit your needs. I am impressed with this bag. I can carry my D5100 with a lens and also carry a 55-200 and a 35, as well as the battery charger. It's not really as small as stated, but these items definitely fill it up. Love the canvas, the grippy strap, and the padded insert. Adorama is the only place I shop for camera gear. Great prices and service. Thanks!

Nice bag. Not so much a camera bag.

  • Excerpt: Knowing that this wouldnt be an ideal camera bag, i bought it anyways for its looks. Its a long bag in height which i needed it to be to store my camera plus my ipad. Like others have mentioned, its lacking another divider/partion. I took my partion out completely to store my ipad and put my micro4/3 in the Crumpler Haven carrier. Could also store a few more personal items as well. The bag really is bigger than it appears to be.
  • Pros: Attractive, Comfortable , Good Strap Length, Lightweight , Roomy
  • Cons: Built In Ipad Sleeve, More pockets, Not enough compartments, Not Waterproof

great daily carry-around bag

  • Excerpt: I wanted a daily use shoulder bag that was smaller than the typical messenger bag, and this bag is it! I typically use it to carry my NEX7 with attached lens and one additional, plus my ipad. Its more than big enough to fit what i need to carry. Big enough to carry a full size dslr if i wanted to. (lots of room to stack items if needed). Bottom of the bag itself is thickly padded which is a plus when resting it on the ground.
  • Pros: Attractive, Comfortable , Good Strap Length, Lightweight , Roomy
  • Cons: Flimsy Insert, Not enough compartments, Not Waterproof

Quality Bag - Holds More Than You Think

  • Excerpt: This is a well constructed, durable camera bag. The Domke Gripper strap is comfortable and prevents the bag from slipping off my shoulder. The sides are well padded, but the bottom of the bag has somewhat less padding. The Velcro silencers are a nice touch. So is the can of refinishing wax that is included. I use the bag to carry one rangefinder camera with lens attached, a short telephoto, small flash, and a few essentials.
  • Pros: Attractive, Comfortable , Durable , Good Strap Length, High Quality, Lightweight , Roomy
  • Cons: Not enough compartments

  • Excerpt: perfect size. doesn't feel too small, even for a tall guy. seems like plenty of room for extra gear or whatever else you want to bring a long. could use more dividers. take the protective liner out, and you have a nice bag for all other uses. looks great too.

good size, nicely made

  • Excerpt: perfect size for my 5d and a couple lenses, with a flash or one lens, a jacket and bottle of water. hangs nicely and the strap is comfortable even when fully loaded. could have used an outside pocket or a vertical one on the inside... the only extra compartment (for keys, etc) is on the inside of the flap, so getting things in and out isnt super convenient.

Love this Bag!

  • Excerpt: I have long been looking for a nice casual camera bag for when I'm walking along a garden or zoo shooting and have an extra lens with me and a comfortable bag on the shoulder. This is it! I love it. I use it for camera gear, then my wallet, cell phone, keys and I'm set. Fantastic bag, made very sturdy, I think it will be a favorite for many years to come. Used it a few times so far, and am looking forward to spring/summer shooting with it as well.
