It's not Donke's fault...

Jeff B., B&H Photo
  • Excerpt: Great bag. A classic. Good storage. Doesn't look like a camera bag. Great canvas, which I love. But what sucks is that no bag really does what I want. One Sony a7. One larger lense. One apple laptop. One iPad. Place for cords. Place for filters. Good shoulder padding. Small. This is great for a camera, a couple of lenses and a laptop. The extras are an afterthought. It's not the bags fault.

I rely on DOMKE

Craig V., Adorama
9 January 2015
  • Excerpt: The DOMKE F-802 Satchel is an American Made bag.In addition to utilizing it as an alternate camera bag, I have also used it as a: Computer Bad,Document Case,And as a bag used to carry some sales samples. As a camera bag, I use it in addition to a larger Camera Equipment Bag.When empty, it takes up little room in the trunk of my car. When I am out, it gives me the option to carry only what I think I need. And it does not scream " Camera Bag"The only complaint I have is that...

An reliable bag at a great price

Jim, B&H Photo
13 August 2014
  • Excerpt: I use this bag to carry my notebooks, camera and misc items to work everyday. It is a well made no-none sense bag. The only odd thing about it is how different colours are sold at different prices. This wasn't the case a few years back.
  • Pros: Comfortable Strap, Compact, Durable, Good Protection, Lightweight

5 August 2014

Sometimes I find myself in areas which I do not want to draw attention to myself. This is the first Domke bag I've purchased without inserts, puzzling.

Ideal Accessory

Rick O'Booth, Adorama
27 June 2014
  • Excerpt: F-802 perfect partner for the Classic Shooters' bag in these digital times. Ideal briefcase and laptop bag, though it could do with more internal padding for laptop. Effectively creates portable office/photo editing work station for travel. Absolutely indestructible. Easy access to everything, carries files with CPU, chargers and cables. Terrific in every way.
  • Pros: Comfortable Strap, Durable
  • Cons: Inadequate Protection

Daily Carry Win for a Writer, Backup 2

Mike vw, Adorama
7 April 2014
  • Excerpt: I can't sing high enough praises for this as a daily carry if you only carry light equipment (one long and one prime) and whatever else you need. A small computer, a notebook, hardrive, peripherals. I can't live without this bag, but don't thk of it as a primary photo bag. If you do, you'll be unhappy. It is the other bag you carry with your other Domke bags. I've had it four years and the strap is only beginning to fray... and that's after 20k on the motorcycle.
  • Pros: Compact, Durable

A perfect carry all

James, B&H Photo
27 March 2014
  • Excerpt: I've been looking for a low profile bag to carry lenses while shooting, and this bag works very well. It's extremely sturdy and solid, lots of pockets, and larger than I expected. While on a shoot I can carry a Sigma 24-70, SB-700, and my D7000 with a Sigma 70-200 attached. There is also plenty of pockets that keep batteries, SD cards, lens caps, model release forms and business cards handy. The only fault I can find is the lack of a padded shoulder strap.
  • Pros: Compact, Durable, Easy to Use, Lots of Pockets
  • Cons: No Padded Strap
