  • Excerpt: It is very wide, wider than I need at the top. Heavy canvas, no padding, and the strap is not long enough. VERY well made, typical Domke. I'm sure it will last a lifetime. Wish the strap were longer, and that the inside of the double zippers had something to keep the bare painted metal away from your tripod/head. I carry a RRS Carbon Fiber tripod and that worries me a little.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Heavy duty material, Highly Compatible, Lightweight, Professional Quality, Right price

Domke short tripod bag

  • Excerpt: I am traveling on assignment with less gear than I used to, and needed a tripod bag that held less than my customary big tripod and 5 stands. This is the perfect size for a small Gitzo1158 pod, a stand and umbrella, which is my default location kit now. It slings against the back for easy carrying. Because it's not padded (a feature benefit, actually), it folds up nicely in luggage and won't take up a lot of room. It's heavy canvas, so it will last a long time.
  • Pros: Comfortable Strap, Lightweight
