Perfection

Pete, B&H Photo
  • Excerpt: Used to carry full kit anywhere, anytime. Took many years of alternate means and methods to finally try one and it's everything it promises. The material is just what's needed to accommodate a bit extra or a bit less kit without collapsing or being impossible to move about yet doesn't collapse when lifting a twenty pound load by the shoulder strap or internal clip-on strap handle. And it still forms to the body well enough when carried over the shoulder.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded

My "man purse"

  • Excerpt: This sturdy, durable, and good looking camera bag has served me well, my last bag lasted at least 7 years, that's 7 years of almost everyday use. I carry my camera nearly all the time! I am a photography teacher in school and therefore take my gear with me to classes..it also goes on Scout troop hikes and camping, service projects, our kids' sport and performance events and yes even to church on Sundays.

Love this bag.

  • Excerpt: I love this bag. I have been us Domke F-2 bags for almost 30 years. My current F-2 in black canvas finally got so beaten up that it did not look professional, unless you were another hard-working photographer. The F-2 bag is a work horse and just holds a ton of stuff. I currently have it filled with a camera body, 5 lenses, a teleconverter, Quantum battery, flash unit, my Hoodloup, dust rocket, memory card holders, spare batteries, cables, and other incidentals.

User Review

  • Excerpt: First of all, my dad bought this bag when they first came on the market in the late 70's. I am still using the bag today. The only thing I have done is put a better strap on it, not that the old one was worn out though. In all this time there have been no rips, or tears or repairs needed in all that time. I've carried the bag with me from places like Panama, to Bosnia and Iraq as well as all over Europe.

Solid Craftmanship

  • Excerpt: The construction of this bag on so many levels can simply not be beat (especially at this price point). It also looks great and is extremely functional. This bag is not as large as I thought it was going to be based on its description and photo. That however is on me because I could have simply measured out the dimensions before purchasing this. I would agree with other reviewers that didn't feel like 2 dslrs and 4 lenses can fit in this bag.
