Solid

  • Excerpt: I bought the F-2 for my Fuji X-T1 kit which as of now consists only of the X-T1 body with battery grip, 18-55m lens, and 55-200mm lens. I plan to add a third lens and probably a flash unit at some point. The F-2 carries all this nicely with some room to grow. I use the small front pockets for extra batteries, and other small items. The heavyweight canvas material feels very substantial in hand, but the bag still seems lightweight overall.
  • Pros: Carries Nicely, Easily Loaded Equipment, Fast Access To Gear, Lightweight, Quality materials, Strong Construction, Time Proven Design

Perfect DSLR Bag

Patrick, B&H Photo
4 August 2014
  • Excerpt: I was looking for something that wasn't overly large, but could still comfortably fit my 5D3 and a selection of lenses while keeping everything accessible (I hate having to dig for gear). I've got the 5D3 with Sigma 50/1.4 Art attached, Canon 16-35/4L IS, Canon 70-200/4L IS, Zeiss ZE 100/2 Makro-Planar, and the Canon 40/2.8 STM Pancake. I could easily move the Canon 40 to one of the front or side pockets and put an additional lens in the main body.
  • Pros: Easily Accessible Equipment, Strong Construction, Well Padded
  • Cons: Shoulder strap

A classic

  • Excerpt: As a working professional I need function over fashion and no other bag give you more pure functionality than Domke. I've used these bags since the days when Jim Domke was stitching them in his basement. They were great then and they're great today. Every thing has its place and it all fits like a glove. I have enough room in this bag to carry three mirrorless Fuji bodies and almost their entire range of lenses – 14; 18; 23; 35; 56; 10-24; 18-55 and 55-200.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded

The shooter's bag!

  • Excerpt: Have tried many different bags. Finally keep only 3: 1 roller case for events, 1 waistpack/backpack for backpacking, and 1 Domke F2 for everything else. Einstein said, "Everything should be designed as simple as possible, but not simpler." The Domke F2 is exactly it. I carry 2 D800's with 35 1.4 and 85 1.4 attached, plus whatever extras needed on different occasions. I think the olive green fits me best. That's all. Get the Domke 720-250D insert.

  • Excerpt: I love the look and feel of this bag, such a nice change from nylon. Needed an alternative to my backpack, something to carry my camera with lens attached and a couple extra lenses. This bag can easily do much more than that, making it very versatile. I have swapped the stock insert with the Domke 720-250D insert.

  • Excerpt: I got this bag about 6 weeks ago and was very pleased with how fast it arrived. Once I got it out of the box I immediately started putting my gear into the bag. At first the fabric was rigid but after a couple days of gear going in and out of it, the fabric has expanded and is more flexible.
  • Pros: Easily Loaded Equipment, Strong Construction
  • Cons: None

Absolutely fantastic!

  • Excerpt: I ordered this bag secretly hoping that I would be able to deliver on all that it promised and still be functional to carry. It is perfect! It has so much space so that when I expand my collection of equipment, I will still be able to use the same bag. It's also easy to carry. Thanks Domke. This bag rocks!

  • Excerpt: spacious and comfortable can hold 1 camera, 4 lenses and accessories additional bottom board is a must (I use it inside the bag, on top of the equipment) ageless look, probably looks better the more you use it (like a quality leather jacket) use the protective wraps for each lens (11" size is ideal) This is my 5th and best camera bag yet
  • Pros: Easily Loaded Equipment, Lightweight, Strong Construction
  • Cons: Difficult to Close, May Need Additional Pad

This is a great bag to work out of

Doug, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: If you're looking for a camera bag to work out of, this is a good one. I keep two bodies, four lenses, filters, flashes and batteries in my bag and it works. I don't dig around for stuff. The bag protects the equipment from rain and dirt. The strap is outstanding: wide enough to not dig in to the shoulder, and grippy enough to not slip off. It seems to be designed by someone who actually works out of the bag. Given a choice, I'd buy another one.
