Excerpt: If you need to carry a small DSLR camera around without all the rest of your gear this one works well. It won't carry a 600 mm lens attached but it is a nice top loading holster style carried over the shoulder or by the top handle.

It's padded well enough that it can get knocked a little bit and the solid bottom is strong and waterproof. I wouldn't drop it more than falling off the table.

It won't hold much for accessories.
Excerpt: The case construction is nice and solid, but this is too small to really fit a Dslr and Lens. Maybe a 4/3 camera or a fixed lens camera, but not for my Pentax k-30 (which isn't really even that big). Also expected camera to be suspended in case, but lense would go directly on the bottom of the case, which would make me nervous.
Excerpt: This is a really great small, easy to carry case for my DSLR Canon Rebel EOS D300 camera. There is room enough for my strap. The front pocket holds 2 extra camera batteries and CF card. It is easy and fast to access camera. I really like the hard bottom as you can place the case on hard surfaces without worrying about damage to your camera and it is waterproof if you ever need to place the camera on a less than acceptable surface, etc, damp grass.
Pros: Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Well Padded
Excerpt: This is a very compact camera case.
Unlike the medium and large Case Logic cases, this one only has the one storage pocket, and no camera saddle on the inside.
I bought this case to carry in my Harley saddle bags, and it takes up just slightly more space than the camera itself would.
I own this case and the medium case by Case Logic, and both are very well made.
I'm pleased with both camera cases, and would recomend them both.
Summary: I suppose that I could remove the lens each time I want to put the camera away, but this allows dust to get into the camera, and then also would greatly increase the time needed to take a picture.
Pros: Compact, inexpensive case that seems to offer decent protection. The bottom is a tough foam (I believe their claim that it is waterproof).
Cons: I would like just a little more padding, and really the case needs to have a little more space inside. I have a Nikon D5100 with the standard lens, and it stretches the case when I zipper it shut. This reduces the effectiveness of the padding, as there is no extra space to absorb the impact of any shock. I am concerned also that the constant compression of the case along the axis of the lens may cause the autofocus mechanism to degrade over time. They could greatly im...
