Professional Gadget Bag 1EG by Canon

Jeff, B&H Photo
18 March 2014
 • Excerpt: The Canaon "1EG" is the best camera bag I have owned in forty years. It is built to military specs. The thickness of the nylon, the stitching, the padding, the dividers, and the heavy-duty zippers, are second-to-none. Just the two or three extra inches in width, add so much more room for lenses and accessories. With all of this, it is still a light weight. I did a double-take when I saw the [$] price tag.
 • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded

 • Excerpt: Durable with places for everything.

I upgraded from a smaller bad and dont know what to do with all the extra space, guess i have to buy more gear now. A fun feature I found that i wasnt expecting was that there are a couple removable pouches on the inside, perfect if you are going to put some filters in and just wnt to grab and go.
 • Pros: A Lot Of Space, Strong Construction
 • Cons: Bulky, Tad Awkward To Cary

Great bag for the price

 • Excerpt: I own both this bag and its matching backpack, the 200EG. If you are simply needing to transport gear to a location, the backpack holds more, is more configurable, and is more comfortable to carry. But if you need to have extra lenses, etc. at your side for immediate access, this is the bag to buy. I use this bag when I photograph sports and weddings.
 • Pros: Easily Accessible Equipment, It Has The Canon Logo, Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded
 • Cons: Bodylong Lens Won't Fit, Body With Lens Won't Fit, No Pockets For Mem Cards

Perfect for my Canon D60

Greg, B&H Photo
20 December 2013
 • Excerpt: I originally thought this bag might be too large, but I purchased it and am quite happy with it. I loaded it up with my camera, two lenses, bounce flash, all their manuals, cables, batteries, and chargers. Everything fit neatly and perfectly in its own compartment and I still have room for more.

I like the fact that the manuals fit in a zippered slot in the back, the cables all fit in a zippered compartment on the lid.

Functional and Worth the Price

The Stallion, B&H Photo
18 December 2013
 • Excerpt: I purchased a Canon camera bag for my new EOS 60D at [*] and received a bag for an EOS Rebel. That bag started to split at the seams and was worthless within 2 weeks. This gadget bag, however, is well made and provides ample storage for my 60D, a Sony NEX N, the EOS' portrait lens, a zoom lens for the 60D and a Canon flash. There is room for everything and it's easy to access each piece. The shoulder strap offers a wide adjustment capability and all fasteners work well.
