better than expected

  • Excerpt: I use this as my "lens" bag when shooting weddings - it contains a 70-200/2.8, 24-70/2.8, 2 600ex flashes, AA's, flash trigger, extension tube and a small light stand. I could probably cram another lens in there if needed. The two bodies plus two lenses are worn. I would have been happy to pay more but this fit my needs perfectly - once you try and find something with a tripod/lightstand holder, your choices narrow quite a bit.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight

Nice bag.........but

  • Excerpt: It's a nicely built bag but a real shame about the metal clasps that keep the bag shut. Not only are they prone to scratches (mine were scratched right out of the box)but they are difficult to open/close. I have similar bags with all plastic clips which can easily be opened with one hand but the metal ones on this bag are a difficult to use and I need two hands to open and close each clasp.
  • Pros: Nicely Built
  • Cons: Hard To Open And Close

Just what I was looking for.

  • Excerpt: I ordered 3 bags to compare. I kept this one over the canon 10EG and 200DG. The 200DG was much too big for me. The 10EG was just a slightly larger version of what I already had. The corners on the 10EG are rounded making it a little inconvneient to access lenses. The EG is also not as structured. The 100DG which I kept was boxier with more structure and padding. It can hold a canon EOS rebel body with e lens attached and 3 more lenses.
  • Pros: Easily Accessible Equipment, Strong Construction, Well Padded

Great Sturdy Product

  • Excerpt: I didn't want a bag to carry on my shoulder so this gives the option by hand or shoulder. Also I wanted a bag that could hold my camera and lens without having to detach the lens and this bag does that very nicely even with the 70-300 mm lens. I can put my camera and lens attached plus 2 flashes, plus 2 more lens and a hoodman in the main compartment and it has many side compartments for batteries, cards, gels or what other things you may have.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded

  • Excerpt: This is a great bag for the money. I use it to store my Canon 5D Mark II, 70-200mm f/2.8, and my 430 Speedlight and all fit perfectly. The bag even has a slot for a 13" laptop. The quality of the materials is top-notch, and lots of padding adequately secure the contents.

A Great Padded Bag

  • Excerpt: We purchased this bag for our Canon 60D. With all the padding the bag has, it doesn't leave as large a space inside the bag for the camera but it does fit after we moved out all the dividers. I think we can add lens under the camera with the dividers as we add more gear. The camera is very well protected.
  • Pros: Strong Construction, Well Padded

Good bag but needs improvements

  • Excerpt: I bought this bag after first purchasing a Gorilla bag for my Canon 60D and equipment. The Gorilla bag was a bit too small for everything I had but was overall a better made bag than this one by Canon. Unlike the Gorilla, which used a zipper AND straps to close the top, the Canon only uses straps and velcro, which is not strong enough to hold heavy equipment if the strap buckles eventually wear down or break.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Easily Accessible Equipment, Lightweight, Strong Construction, Well Padded
  • Cons: Design Flaw
