Summary: A really great bag, it easily holds my Contax G2 body with lens attached, plus two other contax lenses as well as a fuji Gs645 medium format and all the other bits, ie filters, hoods, film, Digital, meter etc. I did try the Crumpler bags, but the noise of the velcro every time you open the bag is enough to scare any wild life away!
Pros: Construction., Protection - in all the right places., Looks cool.
Summary: The quality of this bag is absolutely first-class; excellent materials and workmanship. But it's not so handy on the move. The problem is what to do with the top flap and the handles when using it. I ended up rolling the flap back, weaving the handles together and retaining them with a piece of string but this seems a rather poor solution. The bag offers excellent protection for the camera but I found it rather awkward to use.
Summary: I have owned a Billingham bag of this size and type for about thirty years. One of the leather straps is a bit scared, the corners are slightly abraded and the canvas has a convincing and pleasing faded quality. It has been used as intended and regularly stripped of its camera pockets and stuffed with overnight gear. It makes me feel good every time I sling it over my shoulder.
Summary: Had mine now for 8 years and still class it as the best camera bag on the market. Expensive but they just last forever. I use to be a Photographer in the RAF and used one of these every day and it got hammered but it never let me down. Do not bother about looking at other bags they just do not match up to the Billingham range.
Conclusion: Hållbarhet: 5 Bekvämlighetsfaktor: 4
Mycket bra kvalitet.
