A must have

  • Summary: This is an everyday essential, not only is it practical, comfortable to wear but useful as you store your cards in the strap also. I had the older one which I loved but now they improved it for more comfort so it is even better. If you have a camera, you need this strap.
  • Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Does not Chafe, Strong Construction, Well Padded

Comfortable Strap

PhotoDog, B&H Photo
5 January 2009
  • Summary: I use this strap on my camera bag (Case Logic's three-section [one for camera, two for lenses] bag with the orange covered elastic) that holds my Rebel XSi with 18-55mm IS lens attached, 75-200mm IS USM L lens, and 55-250mm IS lens. The three small accessory pockets hold five filters, an extra battery, two cables, and an extra lens cap. So, it isn't exactly a light-weight bag. This strap has made a world of difference in making the bag comfortable to carry around!
  • Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Strong Construction, Well Padded

Straps performs as advertised.

  • Summary: I put this on a Canon XTi and it holds up very well even when there's a big telephoto involved. The springy quality of the strap is its big draw, try it and I think you'll like it compared to many others. I find I can keep the camera and lens around my neck and not off my shoulder because it is so comfortable, which means more shooting quickly and less readjusting the camera from sholder to neck.

Best Strap I've Used

JB of Cincy, B&H Photo

  • Summary: I took the plunge and bought a nice strap, and I am so happy that I did. I wear the D300 with battery grip, and a Nikon 80-400 VR around my neck and my neck doesn't bother unless I start carrying two cameras. For lighter lenses, it is as if the camera isn't there. I have used an unpadded wide strap for years, but this is so much better.

Very comfortable and durable

  • Summary: I wanted a more comfortable strap than the one came with my camera and one that did not advertise what my camera was. I chose this one because I have always like the other products that I bought from Tamrac. This strap is very comfortable (the boomerang shape fits nicely around my neck), I like the memory card pouches and I am not sure if the quick release will be much use to me, but its there.
  • Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Does not Chafe, Strong Construction, Well Padded

Neck Strap that Works

Stu, B&H Photo
6 May 2008
  • Summary: I have a heavy Canon 1DsMkIII and the neck strap shipped with it cuts into my neck when I use it so I ordered the Tamrac strap. End of problems! It works great even for all day long shooting trips with heavy lenses. This is the best strap for long days I have ever had.
  • Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Does not Chafe, Strong Construction, Well Padded
  • Cons: Shorter would be nice

User Review

  • Summary: I got this strap on sale for $29.99 a month ago for my Canon 60D. I have the same strap on my T3i and I just love it. Takes all the pressure off the neck, and really makes carrying the camera a pleasure. It is especially noticeable with the 60d with the extra weight. Nice and wide, and just elastic enough. The two SD card holders are a nice feature also, especially if you are shooting video and using a lot of memory on the flash cards.
