Just too big

  • Excerpt: I found this just too bulky when I put it on my belt. I can carry much more water in a regular water bottle that I attach to my belt with a carabiner. It was also just a regular water bottle. I have one that is insulated and will keep water cold for a long period of time that costs way less. I returned this item without ever using it. .

Everything a bottle and holder should be

Frenchy, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: This bottle and holder can be used in a variety of ways - it can be used with the modular system provided by Tamrac or it can be used with any belt to keep your water close at hand. The velcroc used to attach the holder to your belt or backpack is very strong and will not easily come apart and when used with the snaps you can be assured of a drink whenever you desire it. I have used it on several occasions and have not had any problems with it.
  • Pros: Comfortable Strap, Compact, Durable, Good Protection, Lightweight
  • Cons: Non-sweat Proof Material

Worth the Money

  • Excerpt: Two of my favorite things to shoot are sports and nature while hiking. I usually carry at least 2 bottles of water at all times in the leg pockets of my cargo pants. This should make staying hydrated a bit easier. Fits perfectly on my Tamrac Velocity 10X and 8X. I bought one MX5398 for now to test, but may follow up with another one soon.
  • Pros: Great Fit, Works as Advertised
  • Cons: Cheesy bottle

Great Accessory

  • Excerpt: Love being able to carry water 'hands free' on the Tamrac pack. It's great that I can attach and unattach with a few snaps and velcro. That way I can remove it when I'm not going on a long photo shoot.
  • Pros: Durable, Lightweight
