Summary: Difficult to put on and take off. Great if you are not using a vertical grip. Does a great job stabilizing the camera with only one hand. I liked it well enough since this was the second one I purchased. The strap on the first one unraveled due to my taking it off and on fairly frequently. This time I am going to use it more sparingly to try to keep it longer. It would be great if it had a more convenient on and off method but it is very secure.
Summary: I love this product, and since recieving the grip it has never left my camera. You do need to make adjustments to it as to make sure it fits your hand perfectly, but I love that I don't have to have a neck strap on my camera and don't have to worry about dropping my camera with this little device. I use it on a Sony a77 with vertical grip attached and couldn't be happier.
Summary: I really wanted this product to work on my Sony A65 and tried many many adjustments to the length and placement of the bottom plate. It simply obstructs the angle of your hand and index finger so that it is extremely uncomfortable to click the shutter button. It also doesn't feel that it adds very much benefit to holding my camera in terms of dropping it because it lays across the hand around the knuckles instead of more by the thumb and wrist.
Summary: Before I purchased this hand grip I tried to google as much information as I can. I also tried looking up youtube videos, pictures, and anything that would help me make a decision. My main fear was that the grip would not fit properly unless you had a vertical grip. I have both the A99 and A55 without vertical grips. Fortunately the hand grip worked wonderfully. Let me explain why and hopefully this will help you make your decision.
great for holding and stabilizing the camera while shooting

Summary: this strap feels great on the A77 and helps a lot with stabilizing the camera while shooting. It could be designed a little better to be more easily adjusted and more easily attached and removed from the camera, though. Also, when adding on the vertical grip to your camera, this strap has to be completely reconfigured. Just time wasted in fooling around with this strap when I could be taking photos.
