Best [$] I ever spent!

  • Summary: Seriously, I would buy this again in a heartbeat. I have a couple of hand grips that I use on my other cameras but they pale in comparison to my Sony hand grip. Unlike the knock-offs, I can also use the neckstrap with the Sony hand grip. Vertical grips can also be used with this hand grip strap. It is so much more comfortable with this strap and I feel more secure holding it.
  • Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Reliable

Get a(Better) Grip

  • Summary: After having had a past destructive accident with a neck strap, I use a grip/holding strap on every camera I own that will accept one. This Sony strap has a detachable eyelet that threads into the tripod socket to enable the user to attach the strap without an accessory battery grip in place. The battery grip has a lower eyelet making this part unnecessary when it is in use.
  • Pros: Attractive, Lightweight, Long-Lasting, Reliable, Versatile
  • Cons: Restricts finger movement

Great look and feel.

  • Summary: I really like the look and feel of this hand grip on my a700. I don't like the camera hanging around my neck so I went with this grip. I normally don't use the neck strap and without the grip I didn't fell like I had a good hold on the camera. I feel much more relaxed with the grip and would recommend it to anyone for that additional feel of securing the camera while in your hands.
  • Pros: Good Value, Lightweight, Long-Lasting, Reliable
  • Cons: No cons

Good add-on for your camera

Parrix, B&H Photo
29 April 2008
  • Summary: I'm using this hand grip with my Sony Alpha DSLR-A200 that has a VG-B30AM vertical grip attached on it. This will help you to hold your camera securely with just one hand, situation that most of the time is very important, specially when using large lenses. I decided to attach the hand grip at the bottom strap eyelet from the vertical grip instead of from the tripod socket, this because I feel that the camera keeps more secure when you leave it over a flat surface (when...
  • Pros: Lightweight, Long-Lasting

Excellente finition

  • Summary: Poignée robuste et peu encombrante.
