Excerpt: I am fairly new to returning to having the camera settings on manual (some 40yrs ago was the last time) and so after reading reviews I believe that this particular meter would be more than reliable and adequate. I find it to be easy to use and so far I have not had any issues whatsoever.
Excerpt: The light meter works very well. It has settings for ISO and Shutter Angle, which makes it great to use with a BMPCC. The meter is inexpensive so it is a bit fragile. As far as readings, this meter is as good as any I have used.
Excerpt: I use this meter with my photography and videography. Works really well and it's very accuarate. The only thing negative I have to say is, I wish there was a mode button to swith from video light metering to photography light metering on the fly withought going through powering off the unit to switch...
Excerpt: I bought this to up my game and to learn. Instead of "faking it," relying on the camera / histogram to make exposure decisions, or having to load footage in my laptop during each shoot's setup, I wanted a tool that was smart and would help me become faster, smarter and more accurate.
Excerpt: The product quality, as mentioned previously, is somewhat cheap. The light meter performs as it should for the most part. It seems to choose a slightly higher F stop than is visually appealing. I often need to stop down more than what is measured. Maybe just a calibration issue.
Excerpt: As others have said it is light. Use care when handling. Ding one star for that. Otherwise tool allows for perfect exposure quickly. Mine came with case and it will stay on. Pricey but the pics are spot on and require far less developing.
Excerpt: It is lightweight, compact and very easy to use. Take 1 AA battery, which is very easy to find anywhere in the world. I shoot both digital and with film, so this is a very helpful addition to the tool bag.
Pros: Accurate Reading, Compact, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Reliable, Widely Available Battery
