Good all purpose outdoor zoom lens for micro four thirds format cameras

Summary: This is a great lens for outdoor work and well-lit indoor shots. It is incredibly sharp and offers a great range from 14mm all the way up to 140. If you're used to full-frame cameras or 35mm film cameras, double those figures for an accurate idea of actual performance. In addition can double the focal length up to 280mm for video work with no loss of quality which means you can get the equivalence of a 560mm lens when shooting 1080i video.
Great Zoom Lens for the Panasonic/Olympus Micro 4/3 cameras

Summary: This is an excellent image stabilized lens that works great on both my Panasonic GH2 and Olympus OMD-EM5 cameras. I turn on the image stabilizer for the Panasonic camera and off for the Olympus camera which has 5 axis image stabilization built in the camera. The lens itself has a very nice sturdy feel and the zoom turns smoothly. Image quality and color rendition is excellent with both cameras.
Summary: I recently purchased a Lumix DMC-G5XK camera, which came with the low-profile 14-42mm zoom lens (H-PS14042). The camera is wonderful, especially used with the Lumix 100-300mm lens! However, that low-profile standard lens is *very* disappointing... It has a penchant for shooting fuzzy scenics, even at high shutter speeds, and in any situation it is liable to shoot fuzzy, indistinct shots; even at its best, in fact, it is far poorer than the DMC-FZ47 that this system is...
Summary: I like this lens a LOT. It gives me ample zoom range to shoot wide-angle photos, and also to pick up the occasional bird at its maximum focal length. It's compact, not too heavy, and works very well.
Summary: Perfect all in one lens for my Panasonic DMC-G5. Definitely bigger and heavier than either the 14-45 kit lens or the 45-150 zoom, but still a compact, easy to handle package. Certainly well worth the price I paid ($414). It's nearly twice that at retail and I couldn't have afforded that.
