Summary: This is my favorite lens as a amateur. I am using this on a G5K body. It's not heavy, focuses fairly quickly and gives great results. The 14 - 140 is perfect for most sporting events and general use. I also use the 100 - 300mm lens when I need to get a little better distance. I also used this with a flash for night shots and I was able to get some great up close shots. I haven't found any real weaknesses yet, but as I said, I am an amateur.
Summary: This is now my go-to travel lens. Who wants to bring more gear while traveling and keep switching lenses? This lens allows me to get the 28mm equiv wide angle shot, the portrait with bokeh is the right light, and telephoto at 280mm equiv without having to switch lenses for each. One stop shop as they say. A bit heavy, but no more heavy than others in this price range/quality. Haven't done video yet but will post update once I do.
Summary: This lens is quickly becoming one of my favorites! find the range to be excellent for most all purpose settings, sports, school plays most everything so far. Have not used this for landscape pictures or much outside work, but doubt I'll be disappointed. This handles light well. I put this right up there with my Lumix G 35-100HD. It's get used on both my GH3 and my G6 have had no response problems auto focus and O.I.S. work fine.
Good all purpose outdoor zoom lens for micro four thirds format cameras
Richard Boardman, Amazon
20 March 2014
Summary: This is a great lens for outdoor work and well-lit indoor shots. It is incredibly sharp and offers a great range from 14mm all the way up to 140. If you're used to full-frame cameras or 35mm film cameras, double those figures for an accurate idea of actual performance. In addition can double the focal length up to 280mm for video work with no loss of quality which means you can get the equivalence of a 560mm lens when shooting 1080i video.
Great Zoom Lens for the Panasonic/Olympus Micro 4/3 cameras
Roger James "Doc", Amazon

Summary: This is an excellent image stabilized lens that works great on both my Panasonic GH3 and Olympus OMD-EM5 cameras. I turn on the image stabilizer for the Panasonic camera and off for the Olympus camera which has 5 axis image stabilization built in the camera. The lens itself has a very sturdy feel and seems extremely well built. There is no power zoom on the lens but the zoom turns smoothly. Image quality and color rendition is excellent with both cameras.
