Summary: I bought this lens to take pictures of my daughter doing surf. I wish time speeds up until June in order to properly use it. Try to take some indoor pictures but with medium or low light the picture are terrible, but thats normal. I bought it used and, because I'm in Portugal/Europe and the seller in the US (Texas) I thought it would take ages, but the service was pretty good.
I am totally happy, would recommend this lens for its value.

Summary: - Why I bought it - for places like the LA Zoo, where the animals are far away. - What I like most about it - the range, the sharpness, and clarity for the price I paid. - What I dislike about it - the f/4.0 aperture is some what limiting, but again, the price. :-) - Whether or not I would buy the product again is a yes, because as a non-professional this lens meets the need of an amateur. I paid $207 for this lens new including shipping. Could not go wrong.
Summary: I bought this lens to be able to use it on my two cameras LUMIX G-2 and G-3, micro. As I already have a lens Lumix G Vario 14-140, needed a 45-200mm, for complete versatility. I consider this lens as good quality, at an affordable price. I have no criticisms to make regarding this lens.
Summary: Although the lens experts knock this lens for being plastic, that is not an issue for me, especially at this price. The optics are what counts for me and that is what amazed me when I put it to the test this morning at all focal lengths outside with a snowy landscape. When I got the lens the other day, I immediately updated its firmware through Olympus, since I am using it on their EPL1, one of my favorite all-time digitals (I have owned 34)and one I have no intention of...
Excellent Zoom Lens That Won't Put A Hole In Your Wallet

Summary: Panasonic apparently do not believe in catchy names for their lenses. But it does at least tell you exactly what you're getting. Since this is a micro four thirds lens you're looking at a zoom of 90mm to 400mm on the standard 35mm scale. That's a pretty good range and certainly brings things much closer to you. I got the chance to really put this lens through its paces during my Disney World trip. I was regularly switching between this and my standard 14-45 kit lens.
Summary: I've had the 45-200mm Lumix zoom for almost two weeks of testing. It was used primarily outdoors in available light with an Olympus E-pl1 body. The lens has proven to be extremely sharp and contrasty at all focal lengths. The autofocus is quick and accurate with the Olympus body and the stabilization function of the lens is quite effective.
Summary: Having finally sold the last of my Nikon digital (and film) gear, and replaced it with M-4/3 bodies and lenses, I needed one last lens to complete my kit: A telephoto. Panasonic makes several telephotos for the M4/3 system, of which this is the cheapest, and I was concerned as to whether it was good enough to produce the level of quality I was looking for.
Summary: Bought this zoom lens on eBay for my Panasonic DMC-GF3 camera and took it to the race track. Detail is amazing, and the 200mm zoom (equivalent to 400mm with 35mm cameras) allowed for close-up shots of the cars in the pit stops from the top of the stands. Video performance was also very good. Autofocus could be slightly faster for high speed action like races, though.
Summary: After purchase on ebay camera Panasonic GF3, has bought at once and this lens. The test has shown, that very qualitative copy has got to me. Sharp on all to the staff. It is focused quickly. It would be certainly desirable посветлее hardly, but for this money the optics quite justifies itself also to me very much it is pleasant. I consider, that now my complete set does not require more what. I recommend this lens.
