Must-have accessory

Phydeaux, B&H Photo
1 January 2009
  • Summary: This remote has limitied functionality on the Olympus SLR cameras. - Pretty much only works for the shutter control and for shooting in bulb mode. This will not automatically zoom your lens (SLR's can't zoom remotely) A lot of reviews I read about this remote say that the range is really poor, but that hasn't been the case in my experience. The remote triggered my E-500 from 20 feet away with no problems.
  • Pros: Easy To Set Up, Nice Button Configuration, Strong Signal
  • Cons: Easy to lose

Now I can be in those family pictures!

Alex, B&H Photo
23 July 2008
  • Summary: Being the photographer I am always left out of the picture. I have been using the timer, but that requires me to run back an forth from the camera for multiple shots. Now that I have the remote I can be in the shots and take a few shots w/o the extra running. The remote works well and I was able to release the shutter from 25 feet away.

  • Pros: Durable, Easy To Set Up, Nice Button Configuration, Strong Signal
