works great

20 January 2014
  • Excerpt: I bought this bracket to use as a simple flash bracket for macro photography. Coupled with a mini ball head, it allows for the flash to be at a better angle (off camera) and adjustable, in an easy to set up and light package.
  • Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight

Little Bracket Does a Big Job

Barb, B&H Photo
30 September 2013
  • Excerpt: I was hired to shoot an event which was 5 1/2 hours. I knew with a Nikon D800 body, Speedlight, and 24-70 lens it was going to be heavy and I needed a bracket. I have a Stroboframe, and a Really Right Stuff bracket but either one would add even more weight.
  • Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Versatile

Lightweight and useful

Dallaspilot, Adorama
2 April 2013
  • Excerpt: This is a lightweight way to get the flash to the left side of the camera, and you can carry the rig with one hand. A stronger and longer unit would work better for my needs, and the plastic wheels molded onto the attachment screws may or may not last -- I'll see.
  • Pros: Attaches Securely, Good Color Value, Lightweight
  • Cons: Weak

Combine this with Slik DQ-10

4 November 2011
  • Excerpt: Nikon should have a quick release mount for the SB900 but by combining this with a Slik DQ-10 quick release and the Nikon SC-17 or SC-28 cable, a functional combination is possible.

15 May 2010
  • Excerpt: This product is awesome... but I did not use it as it is intended. I used it to side mount a point and shoot that I use for recording video. Thuogh I use Canon, this fits perfectly on my DSLR and Canon P&S so I can record HD movie while taking pictures.
  • Pros: Attach Securely, Durable, Good value
