Excerpt: Looks silly on a Canon camera, but the recently announced Canon version just isn't available. It's a bit on the thick side compared to the old edge-pinch style, but not an issue. It works well.
Excerpt: I use these on my C**** lenses. Better quality than the cheaper no-name caps. Only giving 4 stars because the "pinch area" does not have ridges to help grab onto it. I uses a rotary tool to add my own ridges. Now it's 5 star.
Excerpt: i use this formy 100L. with the hood on putting the lens cap back on, is near impossible. but with this center pinch style it is easier, although i still have trouble centering the cap so it snaps back onto the lens.
Excerpt: I had trouble spending as much as I did on this, but I really like how easy it is to use with a lens hood attached. I have replaced most of my Canon lens caps with this on all lenses that I use a lens hood on.
Excerpt: I deducted one point from a perfect rating because I feel that [$] is an exorbitant price for a lens cap. Otherwise, the item suits my needs perfectly: it is an identical replacement for the stock cap which was originally supplied with my 18-135 lens (and which I managed to lose). B&H's service was exemplary, as usual.
Excerpt: This lens cap fit the Nikon D7000 perfectly. However, there is no strap to affix it to the camera, which is how we lost the original one and why we needed the replacement in the first place. This lens cap does pop off rather easily.
