Excerpt: I bought this hood as a replacement. There is not much to say. I use it all the time except when I want flare. It's light, its's easy to attach, it attaches backward when in storage so it does not take up much space, it's Nikon and it works like its supposed to. The only complaint is it not very rugged but I don't know of any lens hood that is. Overall great product.
Excerpt: The service I got from B&H was great. The product got here when they said and on good condition. The thing I don't understand is why Nikon would not include this in the price of the 18-140mm lens? It's just $ and the lens costs $.
Excerpt: I bought this lens hood to go with a Nikkor 18-140 mm kit lens that came with a D5300 camera. The hood is sturdy, snaps firmly into place and can be reversed on the lens for storage. It will protect the lens without causing any vignetting. What I don't understand is why Nikon didn't include it with the lens in the first place? That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Protects The Lens, Rugged
Excerpt: This hoold was acquired with my Nikon 18-135 Lens, but did not come in the box. Adorama, provided it to me when I notified them of it being missing. The hood fits perfect and locks in place both when mounted for photos and when reversed for storage.
