Good replacement charger

Overstock
15 September 2009
  • Summary: This charger is an excellent alternative to the OEM charger. The OEM took one drop to the floor and was toast... with the tremendous difference in price I was able to purchase several of these chargers and extra batteries for the same cost as 1 OEM charger. It's obviously built a little cheaper, but performs the same function and now I have the ability to charge in lots of places without hauling everything with me.

Nikon MH-18A Charger

29 January 2008
  • Summary: This charger has been easy to use and to pack. It charges quickly and efficiently. I like it so well that I am buying the exact same charger as a spare, for when I am on travel, in case I should need it. I trust it much more than any of the cheaper, replacement models to charge my D200 batteries.
  • Pros: Compact, Quick charger, Light, Easy to pack, Reliable, Sturdy.
  • Cons: None

Nikon's MH-18 battery charger is easy to use and easily portable.

  • Summary: Highly recommended for its compact size, ease of use, minimal weight, and durability. Not as full-featured as the MH-19, but it doesn't disappoint.
  • Pros: Compact, low weight, good ergonomics, durable, generous cord length.
  • Cons: Nothing significant found so far.

  • Summary: Charger works like a charm. A complete battery recharge takes just under two hours. It is a bit smaller than the previous MH-18, which makes it great for road trips or the office.
  • Pros: Smaller than the MH-18 and seems a bit quicker
  • Cons: None

Nikon MH-18A Battery Charger

By anonymous, PriceGrabber
30 July 2006
  • Excerpt: I purchased this charger to replace the one that came with my D70 that was apparently lost (I later found it in my laptop case... D'oh!). It works perfectly, just like the original.
  • Pros: Works like a champ. VERY fast charge of genuine Nikon batteries.
