Summary: This works great to add quick leveling of the legs without the cost of a full ball head tripod setup. Adds about 2 more inches to the length of setup after attaching between the video head and legs. Since the head and the legs also have a bubble level, there's a bit of redundancy here, but oh well. It would be nicer if there was a greater range of adjustment than 10 degrees.
Summary: Leveling head 438 works really well with my Manfrotto 3025 head. The combination is rock solid. Makes shooting panoramic shots a breeze which was my primary reason for purchasing it. It's low profile means you can keep it on your tripod for all but the most extreme low position shots.
Summary: I wanted this leveller to use on safari in Kenya attached to a Manfrotto column clamp for my video camera. On arrival I thought it felt very hard to adjust but attached to the rest of the kit in the safari vehicle it worked fine and my whole setup was perfect - I could easily level the camera quickly and enabled me to obtain superb footage.It is probably easier to use than the levelling device (from another company) I have for my normal tripod setup.And although...
