Excerpt: I recently purchased a Canon EF300 f/4, and I wanted a lens case to carry it in. Something that offered more padding and protection than the stock Canon case, so I could carry it in the field. This case does that and much more. It has more than enough padding, a tuff exterior, attaches to other Lowepro bags, and cinch straps so you can attach it to almost anything. More simply put, It's great!
Excerpt: The Lowepro Lens case is a great case with the attachment for the Lowepro Belts. The case can be used alone or with belt. The case is very well padded and fits the canon 70-200 2.8 with hood perfect. The zipper and pad is great quality and should hold up for a long time. the case has a has a small strap for hand carry and a shoulder strap and loops for a d ring hook for vest etc.
Excerpt: If you need a big, sturdy case this one fits the bill. I bought it for my Nikon 200MM macro lens, which won't fit in the original case now that I added an A/S compatible lens plate. This case is really too big for that lens but it was the closest fit I could find. I need to put some kind of insert in the case to keep the lens from moving around.
Excerpt: I use this Lowepro case to store and protect my Tamron 70-200 f2.8 VC lens. As the headline indicates the lens in the case fits like a glove with the lens hood in the storage position. The padding seems adequate, but only time will tell. There is even enough room to store some filters. I like the case.
Pros: Comfortable Strap, Compact, Durable, Good Protection, Lightweight
Excerpt: Bought this lens case for my prime 300mm Pentax lens. It is a perfect fit for the lens with the hood attached, or I reverse the hood and and use a cushion I made to take up the slack. I feel that it is going to give my lens the protection it needs on my trip to Alaska. It was hard to find a lens case that would accommodate my lens, and this is perfect. I highly reccommend it.
