Excerpt: System wants to know specific information about the brand and type of monitor to be calibrated before starting and will adjust acordingly. Was used to adjust Camera Club monitor for competition.
Excerpt: I bought this for my 23" Apple Monitor and it just could not get neutral color. Always had a green cast to it. I emailed tech support, sent screen shots, etc., but they thought it looked okay. The "before calibration" was better. Maybe my 4 year old monitor can't be calibrated anymore, but, I also question this spyder4.
Excerpt: I've been using a Spyder 2 for cal and it lasted longer than expected. But it finally was no longer supported so I had to get a new one. They're less expensive now, easier to install, easier to use, and the profile loads faster. Can't beat that.
Excerpt: The spyder4 was real easy to use and made a great improvement in my screen to printer printing. The only confusing instruction was to have the room darkened; but the next line instructed you to have the room lit as you normally do when you use the computer. we compromised and had the room dimly lit.
Excerpt: I used the Spyder4Express to get my primary monitor calibrated. I wanted to have the ability to proof images I was sending out for printing and I knew I had to start with a proper monitor calibration. The Spyder4Express was easy to setup and use. The results were a small, but noticeable, shift in my monitor profile and, using the printer profile I am now able to get very good to excellent proofing of prints I have made. Does what was advertised and the price was right.
