Summary: But I also use the remote when I have my camera set up for tripod shots where you don't want to touch the camera in order to reduce camera shake (fireworks, macro shots, landscapes, etc). When I am using these applications I don't want to wait 2 seconds for the shutter.
Summary: First off, it works with "Bulb" mode which is great for certain applications (see photo in images). Many other remotes I came across did not offer this. It also allows you to change a 2 second shutter delay or instantaneous.
Excerpt: It worked flawlessly right out of the box, and still actuated the shutter well beyond the listed distance limit. I got shots off between 37-39 feet away from the camera, after that it was too far away. This will come in very handy for self portraiture and long exposure photography.
Excerpt: This is a great little remote for my Canon DSLR Sl1. It fits in one's hand without being noticed, so you can take a picture of yourself without seeing the remote. I've been very pleased with the ease of use and the small size.
Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Reliable, Small
Excerpt: I use this for selfies with friends/family, but also when taking pics of children and babies. It is not intimidating and gives more control over the pose situation. It is light weight, small/discreet and best of all, it works like a charm.
