Canon Original Equipement Manufacturer

Nick, B&H Photo
8 May 2014
  • Excerpt: Canon Original Equipement Manufacturer "OEM" parts just work together. I've never been disapointed with "OEM" parts. I would always recomend using canon lens hoods with canon lenses because then you won't have any part of your photo cut off. Spend the extra money and you should always be a happier camper.

  • Excerpt: I bought this lens hood to give the front glass on my Canon 18-200mm lens a bit more protection. It does this job very well. It seems to be durable, and I plan to keep it on this lens as long as I own it.

worth every dollar spent

  • Excerpt: - very solid construction - fits perfectly and tightly even when in storage i.e. flipped around - I had bought a 3rd party one and its 2 clips kept getting loose so I had to push them in each time. Eventually I lost one clip and decided to spend the money to buy thisCanon product - the felt lining inside the hood helps cut down reflection too - very happy with this product

Hard to be Disappointed with Quality

Dan, B&H Photo
18 March 2013
  • Excerpt: Fits great, Reversible, Does what it's supposed to do. I thought long and hard about settling for an after market hood but I thought, this hood will be with me for as long as I own this lens so I might as well spend a few more dollars and get something I won't regret, Canon Quality. I've neve been disappointed buying quality, but I can't say that when buying aftermarket.
