Summary: It's allot bigger than it needs to be. It's OK, but it could be smaller. It needs to be updated for the XSi bezel around the unit.
Pros: Don't have to smash my nose so hard against the LCD. Nice feature I had on my old SLR that I missed on this new camera. Glad to have it back for comfort.
Cons: This does not fit the EOS Rebel XSi out of the box. You will have to cut away (file) a wedge from both bottom front areas to clear the camera body next to the DISP button and the right side of the unit.
Summary: Does what I wanted it to do and that is keep my face away from the LCD screen of the camera. Takes the eyepiece/cup so all-in-all a worthwhile gadget. Simple to fit, no engineering degrees required.

Summary: As a spectacle wearer I've always found the standard viewfinder a bit of a pain, but adding the EP-EX15 is great for comfort and the fact it reduces the viewfinder image. Why not 5 stars? Well once or twice I've had to push it back into place, but thats it.
Summary: Very useful as a way of extending the eyepiece away from the back of the camera. It does require the existing eyepiece to be used as well - I bought it because my current eyepiece had broken and wouldn't stay on properly. Should have read up more about it first - my fault!! Worth knowing though.
Pros: Easy To Use, Improves Product Function, Lightweight
Summary: Bought it to save the LCD screen from being scratched by my glasses frames. But the real improvement is a subtle compositional effect; no more hunting round to see the corners of the viewfinder. This sounds back to front, after wanting bigger viewfinders.
Summary: Got this for an EOS 50D and it was very easy to fit once I worked out how to remove the eyepeice. The extra distance from the back of the camera means it's a lot more comfortable to look through the viewfinder when wearing glasses although I do find it makes it a little harder to see all the shooting...
