Quality Tells

Studio Photographer, B&H Photo
16 April 2012
  • Excerpt: I'd purchase a low-cost AC adapter from another manufacturer, but the noise it created on the video output made it difficult to tell whether the image was focused or not. The "Real Deal" Canon AC Adapter Kit had no such problem. Yes, it cost more. Yes, it was worth it!

Save on Batteries

Bill Mack, B&H Photo
27 June 2011
  • Excerpt: A must have for in-studio work, or things such as time lapse. It works as intended, though it is rather large for what it is. I'm sure it could have been made more compact/portable.
  • Pros: Easy to Install, Reliable, Solid Construction
  • Cons: Bulky

Very Practical

Jerry, B&H Photo
2 June 2011
  • Excerpt: I use this item primarily for viewing the images on the memory card in my camera. It sure does save precious battery power where I need it: in the field. The only negative thing I could say about this is that it can be rather clumsy to use, especially if one has to keep it stored away if not being used.
  • Pros: Reliable, Solid Construction
  • Cons: Bulky
