Pretty good sound however the biggest thing is that YOU ...

Summary: Pretty good sound however the biggest thing is that YOU MUST BE CAREFUL. Not only does it have a low battery life (I am talking about EXTREMELY low) it's pretty fragile. If you buy the kit with it the tripod stand circular table can crack if you tighten the video recorder too tight.
Summary: Excellent audio ... but very poor image compared to similar products like Samsung 300 (under $100). Which the image, LCD screen, so on could come to par with other consumer grade camcorder. No image stablization.
Summary: If all you have is $100.00 dollars this unit is worth the money. If you owned a smart phone in my opinion your phone could do a better job than this unit specially Nowdays when there already some smart phone recording video in 4K resolution.
Summary: Truthfully, when I bought this, I was hoping it would have a feature more conducive to making videos of myself, to be used on crowdfunding websites like Kickstarter. It needs a monitor that will enable one to see one's self when the camera is aimed in one's direction.
Summary: Good machine, got for a good price. This thing eats batteries, so it's disappointing that you have to order a mains adaptor separately, and then order a mini-USB-to-USB cable for that to work...
Not bad, but not the greatest camcorder for confined spaces

Summary: Most of the other reviews here have covered the main drawbacks of this unit - short battery life, respectable but middling video quality, etc. None of that stopped me from buying this. I have had two Zoom handheld audio recorders for years and they've been great despite a couple quirks.
Summary: After purchasing and receiving the recommended 32GB SDHC card, I was able to use it to download and install the upgraded version of the operating system for the Q2HD (Ver. 1.2). Why is the latest version not included? Then everything seemed to be working when I began actually recording.
Summary: I bought ZOOM Q2HD from local Bestbuy. The video is OK, good enough for web publishing and audio sound was almost perfect for my guitar song solo recording. For the price paid, this is good, almost exactly what I need.
Summary: Just used my Q2 for the first time. Good video, good but low level sound, intensely bad battery life. I would say that the video quality is marginally better than my iPhone, the sound is far superior - even if you have to crank the recording level to 11 for voice - but 2 fresh AA batteries barely...
Can it stream live via wi-fi like the bloggie live?

Summary: I like the fact that it has removable batteries and memory BUT can it stream live (without a PC), save at high resolution, &/or transfer files to a cell phone, via wi-fi like the bloggie live?
