Summary: Bought this camera about 9 months ago; it just died on me a week ago. But it's a decent camera for the price. When the recording, sometimes there is an annoying clicking noise and the motion blur is terrible. Not a good camera for action shots. Picture quality is okay, but I recommend this camera for casual filming that does not require a lot of motion capturing.
Summary: I still need help using this video camera, and the picture is smaller. But overall this Vivitar video camera is a whiz for capturing the great grandchildren in action! Very pleased at the ease of handling and after tech aid from family, use is a breeze. Love it!!!
Crazy how small it is! Was the perfect gift for a tech-savvy child.

Summary: Bought this as a gift for a tech savvy 6-year-old. It is the perfect ultra small size for her hand. It has some very basic camcorder functionality, as well as various advanced settings available. Yet simple enough for a child to operate. The recording quality is pretty good for under $30. We've already had a lot of fun playing with it. I would not recommend this as a family camcorder for recording important events such as weddings and sporting events.
Summary: Camer runs on batteries rather using a charger. Good product for what it is intended to be used for. My nephew enjoys making silly movies on his ipad, so this willallow him some more creativity.
