Summary: I purchased this camera in August of 2011 because it was on sale. I am just now getting around to using it and the camera keeps freezing/locking up. I have read other reviews after purchasing this camera that it is picky on the card you use. I have tried three different memory cards not including the 2GB that came with the camera. It takes customer support several days to respond to e-mails and they give the same run around. Try this, this, and this....
Summary: I bought this for diving and surfing. We shot this on our dive trip to Indonesia. All the shots were off center so none of it was useful. The laser guide was suppose help center but it did not coincide with what we saw later on our computer. Luckily, I had some pics from my underwater camera but no video. Contacted dealer and she would not take it back to fix the problem. I was two days past the 30 day return for Amazon. Amazon would not take it back.
Doesn't work in the sun and they won't honor their warranty

Summary: My plan was to get a wearable video camera for an upcoming motorcycle journey through Spain. I chose the Contour VHoldr camera over the GoPro based on the design and positive reviews. To be honest, I just couldn't (and still can't) get past the ugliness of the GoPro. GoPro's wide angle is just too wide for my taste. During some testing to get the camera configured before my trip, I noticed very distinct verticle lines of interference in the videos.
