Summary: The video quality is solid, however in the absence of any sound to record (i.e. a silent room) the microphone picks up a loud whirring/grinding noise. I've tested it in many different environments, and it is definitely the camcorder, not anything in the room that is producing that noise. Once there is an actual noise to record, the sound quality is pretty good, but that need to invent a sound when there isn't one is obnoxious!
Summary: I was so exited to finally have my first mini camcorder, i waited 18 days for this! But it only lasted half of a day! I went to turn it on and it broke! I was so disappointed that I waisted money on this piece of junk. I definitely recommend you to not buy this product.
Summary: I just received this item. Upon opening the box, the pocket clip was broken and in two pieces and could not be used. The video quality was poor and no better than a low end item. Overall,I was disappointed in the video quality and receiving a broken item.
Summary: I really wanted to like this camera however it is going back as poor design and performance in almost every respect. In addition, mine was defective. Given the quality of other small cameras (e.g the 808 series) there is no excuse for this to be as poor as it is. Slow shutter speed means every frame is blurred if there is any motion or camera motion, and the 640 x 480 resolution is so 1999. I can't think of a single use where this camera would work.
Summary: I have the Veho Muvi Pro DV Camcorder and my hopes was that the Micro would have all the same qualities but in a smaller device...NOT! The video and picture quality is horrible, especially in low light! It has a buzzing sound when video is played back and it skips! In addition, the micro does not have a place on the device for a lanyard, yet it comes with a lanyard..Weird!
