DO NOT BUY VEHO PRODUCTS!!! Sound is unintelligible at any distance, save your money and buy anything else.

Summary: I have tried 5 different Veho DV Camcorders and every single one of them as the worst sound on the planet. There is some type of noise in the background caused by the camera's circuitry that causes a huge amount of noise. The tests I conducted on the 3 Pro and 2 nano Veho camera (all bought from different sellers), were conducted in an absolute quite room and even 2 feet away, voices are not intelligible.
Summary: The video quality is solid, however in the absence of any sound to record (i.e. a silent room) the microphone picks up a loud whirring/grinding noise. I've tested it in many different environments, and it is definitely the camcorder, not anything in the room that is producing that noise. Once there is an actual noise to record, the sound quality is pretty good, but that need to invent a sound when there isn't one is obnoxious!
Summary: I tried the $40 version of this and it had a defective switch, so I returned it. The $53 version worked, but the video is slow and jerky, The video just cannot keep up with what is happening "in real life." It no where near a "sports" quality that you would want to keep.
Summary: It's a tiny camera tha makes actual movies ... The sound is not good, much wind noise and rumble ... but it does have a metal case and appears to be well-made ... The mounting stuff is very versatile and you could put it in to many places and situations and get movies ... I haven't played with it much yet, don't know how the VOX works, but the battery lasts, it focuses pretty well, it does well with fairly low light, and it is Very Small and Easy To Use.
Summary: I was so exited to finally have my first mini camcorder, i waited 18 days for this! But it only lasted half of a day! I went to turn it on and it broke! I was so disappointed that I waisted money on this piece of junk. I definitely recommend you to not buy this product.
