Excerpt: Now you can join in and have fun too with your friends, everything is on the memory card. All the action is live. No side line video taping. The POV.HD is right there. Very easy to set-up, strap-on and forget about it. Weather-proof, with recording times to 4 hours, 30fps or 60fps. your choice but I find I prefer 30fps. Use AA Lithium Ion for better lasting batteries[5 hours max]. Everything you need is in the box.
Pros: Attaches To Anything, Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Durable, Excellent Detail-playback, Good ventilation, Lightweight, Nice fit system/pads
Excerpt: I primarily use the POV.HD for skiing, although I have taken it for a couple of mountain bike rides. The raw footage looks incredible…color, detail and fluid motion. As a skier, I like the POV.HD because it is easy to use…easy to check the camera alignment on the fly, just press the remote button and you are recording. Unlike every other camera it is unobtrusive, light and low profile.
Excerpt: I bought this camera to use while dirt bike riding and the picture is Terrible. Once your moving fast or if the camera is moving around a lot through helmet movements then its difficu to distinguish different items in the background. I used it on a rainy overcast day and it is definitely waterproof, the screen is excellent for adjustment, the romote was okay but the record button stopped working half way through the day??
Pros: Easy to Use
Cons: Poor Image Quality, Poor In Low Light, Poor Sound
Excerpt: This is a unit that has a few advantages over GoPro - easy-to-find AA batteries, and a live LCD screen that you can mount in such a way that you can see it while it's on a helmet. Overall, it's a good system, good image quality, easy-to-use SD cards, but it has a weak link in a critical place - the lens cable connector - on a cable that is permanently affixed to the camera head itself.
Pros: Easy to Use, Great Picture Quality, Large Clear LCD
Excerpt: A category of it´s own and not to compare with the bulky cams other companies show. Easy to use, simple step by step tutorials but still lots of useful "pro"-features. Perfect adaption to different lighting conditions and the loop recording is brilliant. Strong buy!
Pros: Easy to Use, Good in Low Light, Great Picture Quality, Slim and Lightweight
Excerpt: I got this camera from B&H as soon as it became available at the end of 2010. I used this camera for skiing. I had the camera mounted on the shoulder strap of my backpack. It worked pretty well for me last season, with some caveats (see below). The images are quite clear, though image stabilization while skiing is not as good as that of GoPro HD cameras. The lens cover does not attach securely over the camera head. There is no mechanism to speak of, you just push it it.
Pros: Easy to Use, Great Picture Quality, LCD to view your shot
Excerpt: I bought the V.I.O. to document the work of search dogs. Its been working flawlessly and produces excellent quality video for the size of it's components. Need to purchase LithIon rechargables as it eats AA alkaline batteries like popcorn. Have used it with a low impedance short shotgun and a tripod mount to do some pick-ups and liked the quality of the audio. A headphone jack would be a plus.
Pros: Easy to Use, Great Picture Quality, Great Sound
