Don't settle for less than optical zoom, large display, & modern storage.

Summary: Absolutely the best video recorder we've ever experienced. Just the rright size, fits the hand perfectly. If we were to order a custom made. it must have optical zoom 10X, large screen 3", and secure digital media 32 GB. Beware of cheapos touting super zoom which simply crop the picture, most have zero (0) optyical zoom, miniscule screens, and maybe even employ cumbersome archaic tapes or CD/DVD.
Summary: This camera is so easy to use. The quality of the images is outstanding. The still photo quality ranks right up there with more expensive cameras. Would definetly recommend that you buy this camera. Great value for the money.
Summary: I recently started looking into purchasing a 1080p HD camcorder to document a how-to project in all resolutions on YouTube. I wanted something that would do a professional job without the professional pricetag. I needed a camera that would allow me to zoom in and get a detailed macro video with minimal fuss and be able to go back to a standard zoom. Autofocus was a must for my purposes and image stabilization had to actually work well.
Awesome little camera! Don't let the naysayers fool you!

Summary: I purchased the X100 about 2 weeks ago. This great little camera shoots amazing video for $200 or less, and nothing else anywhere near this price range can compete! While it's true that audio comes out a bit quiet, I don't find that to be a drawback at all. Most of the annoying background noises that would normally be picked up with a "better" audio recording camcorder are actually weeded out with the Toshiba X100.
Summary: Excellent image stabilization. I was video taping while riding on an ATV over bumpy terrain and was very impressed with the minimal amount of shaking and never did it lose focus. Love the picture quality and the ease of use as a complete novice and casual photographer.
Summary: This camcorder is super small, it's simple to use and it has the BEST video quality I've ever seen. A friend of mine has a Slr camera with video capability worth about $800 and this little pocket sized camera is just as good or better! The battery lasts about an hour and a half to two hours. They sell a solar battery pack for it for only $40 so I'm thinking of getting that too. What surprised me when I opened the box is that it came with cables!
The camera it's self is a GREAT value. The cheapest full 1080p on the market.

Summary: The camera it's self is a GREAT value. The cheapest full 1080p on the market. However no manual focus, no changing the fps, no external mic input, no sort of lens attachments. Extremely basic. But this picture quality is great and the value is unbeatable!! If you're just wanting an awesome HD video camcorder this is perfect for you!! GREAT BUY!
Summary: First, I want to say I love this camera but I want to be honest and explain everything so you don't give up on it before realizing what a great deal it is. Therefore, I explain the problems and how to resolve them. Before buying this camera, we read reviews for it at several different places. From those reviews and our first few times using the camera there was something which made us nearly return the camera. All was taken care of so please read the whole review.
