Hmmmm.... I probably shouldn't have bought a "Used" product!

Summary: This seemed to be a great deal on what I thought would be a good top-of-the-line Camcorder. I bought a "used" one, knowing that it probably had no warranty. I think, "refurbished" ones do have a warranty, but no refurbished ones were available. I bought all kinds of accessories for it. Bad mistake!. The camcorder appear to be a gem; however, the sound recording was almost inaudible and a remote control unit didn't work (even with a new battery).
Summary: Received this camera as a wedding gift. It did not hold charge at all. Literally one bar would go down after videotaping for about 2 minutes. Wouldn't charge through my computer--although it's supposed to be able to do so. The touch screen is great and its very lightweight, we just obviously got a lemon. Also, the sound is not good either. We had to turn our television volume way high to be able to hear what people were saying on the video.
Summary: Was disappointed with the video.. 4G of internal memory great for pics but with video takes too much space...and mine freezes up... so does the screen..but it's a beautiful camera.. not sure if would recommend... i got what i paid for it $200. Value pack great though....
Summary: This product worked well from the end of November until the beginning of February. It takes still photos well. But when I use the movie mode (why I bought it), it freezes after 4 or 5 seconds and an "i" blinks several times. It does not shut off or allow you to switch to the photo mode. I have to disconnect the battery and reinsert to get it to take still photos. I am wondering if I did something wrong or the camera is no longer good.
Summary: I bought this to replace my Flip Ultra HD camera. For the price the picture is really clear and true. Comes with a remote and a touch screen. Even has a "easy share" button, did not get a change to use it, but I'm sure it works. The bad part of this camera is the sound. If you with in arms distance it ok, but put any distance between subject and camera, and it drops volume hard. Plus no input for an external mic.
Summary: It seems it a bit of a gamble. you might get one that is perfect, or one that has a video issue or a sound problem. If you bought one where everything works, you should play the lottery. I have no red streaking, no color blow out, the battery is fine, but for me...the sound is truly almost non existent. at full volume on playback, people talking at a normal volume can barely be heard. (no the mic is NOT covered).
Summary: I thought this camcorder had potential. Unfortunately, the execution and follow-through is severely lacking. When I first tested the Full HD format, I was really impressed. I shot a short clip of a basketball game and viewed the clip directly from the camcorder through the provided HDMI cable on a 55" Vizio TV and it looked great with clear, detailed pictures and smooth action free of ghosting arifacts and blocking, blotching and other common video artefacts.
