CAMCORDER CHRIS, Amazon

Summary: We have had this camera for less than 2 years when the ac adapter quit working. Unfortunately, Toshiba quit making parts to this and there is no place to get replacement parts. This is really sorry that this nice camera is basically useless when something goes wrong with it!
Summary: The camera size is great, and it is easy to use. Battery life is fine and HD storage space is ample. The problem is that this camera does not function well at all in low light, and the autofocus is shaky unless you are filming outdoors in good light. Even in these ideal conditions, the cameras is sluggish to focus when shifting from close up to further away and zooming.
Summary: great amount of storage, lacks audio input, and the auto focus is noisy on it, and isn't fast enough when zooming in. not bad for the amount of recording you can do. the cam is really small as well.
Summary: This is a little gem. It's small, it's easy to use. It takes great videos and the camera function allows you to get some outstanding action photos. I love it. The only thing more I could ask for might be an external mic jack. Other than that - buy it. My neighbor used it to film wrestling and went right on line and bought a gigashot R-60.
Summary: This is my first camcorder. The price of this product was very reasonable. The only shortage I found so far is it is difficult to control focus when changing the room or during moving. Maybe this is because I am not experienced. The noise mentioned by many people does not trouble me and I think the bad image taken in night may happen in other camcorders not only this band. It's not touch panel so there's no worry about your fat fingers.
Summary: Great product! Now I don't have to carry tons of tape for recording my memories. Fast connection with your computer. Pictures come out great. Sometimes it may be blurry. You might have a problem location an extra battery. The extra SD drives are useful for back up. User friendly.
Summary: This is an amazing little camera. If you edit your movies on a computer you will LOVE this camera because it stores files on the built in hard disk drive instead of tapes. It can record for more than six (6) hours on the hard disk drive (at the HIGHEST quality setting). The videos are automatically saved as MPG2 files which are recognized by almost all video editing products inclding Adobe Premiere and Adobe Premiere Elements.
Summary: I did lot of comparisons with similar PRICED camcorders sony/Canon ($500) and here are my finding The factors need to be considered in any digital photo/video are 1. CCD size 2. MP 3. Filter Size - Lense dia - big means more light goes in to CCD 4. Lense Quality I like this camcorder because 1. Price - 375 for a 30 GIG HDD camcorder 2. CCD size 1/3.6 compared to sony/Canon which has 1/6 3. Filter size is 30.5 sony/Canon 30 or 27 4. 2 Megapixel sony/canon 0.7 MP 5.
Summary: I just graduated from the 1min movies in my digital camera to this camera. I am impressed by the overall functionality of this camera. Positives: 1) Easy to shoot both Movies and Pictures. We think still pictures have their own value. So, taking good pictures was important for us. 2) supports wide screen recording and has 2MB CCD 3) For a HDD camera, I was surprised at the almost non-existent HDD noise.
Summary: I loved this camera for outside use, but anything inside with even marginally low light and the video quality is so poor it is unwatchable. If you shoot indoors at all, this is not the camera for you.
