Summary: UPDATE: Sad to say that this camcorder now won't power on. Am reading through reviews and see one that says a fully charged battery may be the culprit - am seriously questioning the quality control of the manufacturer!!
Summary: This Toshiba S30 camcorder was a gift for my parents. When I received it from Amazon, I tested it and everything was perfect. The video quality is impressive. I would give this product a 5 star. However, when my parents receive this camcorder, they encountered a major problem: it wouldn't power on.
Summary: Pros: Ease of use Free accessories Full 1080p HD Price Features Cons: Battery Charging Turning on Conclusion: The features of this camcorder are found on more expensive models. The accessories are really great for a camcorder in this price range. But the battery is the main problem.
Summary: I wanted a camera I could put in my barn to deliver an HDMI signal to my house so I could see what my animals were doing. A lot of cameras wouldn't do it, this one does: Live feed out the HDMI port. Doesn't turn off after set time. Accepts external power.

Summary: I bought his camera after being disappointed with the DISMAL software that came with a JVC HD camcorder. Understand that THE achilles heel to these HD cameras is getting the HD footage to a Disc, and right off you only have ONE choice for full HD and that's going to require a powerful computer...
Summary: This thing is not that great. I got it for $99 as a special, and I'm OK with it. I have a friend with a Flip cam, and it's so much easier to use than this clunky thing. It serves it's purpose, but I don't like it after seeing how easy the Flip cam is to use.
Summary: Easy to use. Picture quality not one hundred percent very sensative to movement even with stabalisation on. VIdeo very grainy but when transferred into computer plays back with excellant picture. All in all for the price good product.
