Its ok

Wajid Hussein, Amazon
25 December 2012
  • Summary: It is an ok drive. I only wish it had a 3.0 USB so it would be faster. If you need it to run on your Mac you have no other option but to reformat it otherwise it won't work since the drive was primarily made for Windows

Great Value for first time Vloggers and Youtubers, but some drawbacks.

Dtac25, Amazon
21 November 2011
  • Summary: Pros - The Camera is nice and sleek - Fits nice in the pocket - Great for short clips and stills - Sort of 1080p HD, but it's good enough for what you are paying for - You are able to flip the screen back so it faces you. (good for vlogging) - High Value Cons - BATTERY LIFE IS WAY TO SHORT.

  • Summary: This is a great video camera for here and there on the go stuff. I have found that my Iphone does a slightly worse job a taking video so Im a little dissapointed in its performance. The firmware could have used some work, its very basic.

Bait and Switch

Nanny Lou, Amazon
1 June 2011
  • Summary: 06/01/2011 I ordered a Toshiba Camileo package on Amazon that is no longer shown on the website. It included a case for the camera, a tripod, all the extras you need with a camera. I had looked it up on the Toshiba website and saw the same items and it was more expensive.

Toshiba Camileo S20

Woody Snr, CNET
20 February 2011
  • Summary: Bought this purely to record the interior of a house we were thinking of buying abroad to back up copious still pictures as a memory jogger when we came back to the UK. Very good externally not so good internally which was the whole point of buying it.
  • Pros: Small size, good picture in bright daylight conditions.
  • Cons: Controls very small, poor instruction with camera, very poor in low light conditions. WARNING. No use with Apple Mac unless you convert all of the files!

About what was expected for the price

G. Todd Frahm "Just because you can doesn't mean you should!", Amazon
11 January 2011
  • Summary: It definitely won't replace a good quality camera; but for it's price it isn't bad. I've only taken about 10 hours of video on this unit so far and it's what I expected; but maybe a bit less than I hoped for.

Little Buttons; Complicated Menu Options; Incorrect Tech Details

snowman, Amazon
8 January 2011
  • Summary: Over all not a bad camera. However, if you have 'large' fingers you may want to think twice. I had difficulty selecting the right button position with my some what large hands. One of the switches has 3 positions: top, bottom & middle. Good luck on that one.

good for the price and portability

ghostnica, Amazon
31 December 2010
  • Summary: The price excellent (98 bucks when I purchased the item, shipping included). Excellent for casual film, family and related, definitive far a way from the quality of a more complete camera.

Decent Camera for Casual Use

smagliaro, Amazon
27 December 2010
  • Summary: I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed by this camera. The video quality is "eh". Sure it shoots "1080p", but it's grainy and blurry most of the time. It's very difficult to film in low or even moderate light and get good quality. The LED light on the front is pointless.
