Summary: I purchased this Toshiba Camileo camera about two years ago (in 2010). I have been pleasantly surprised with its video quality when viewed using our desktop PC and when played back directly into our HD TV, especially considering the camera's compact size and reasonable cost.

Summary: After only a few months my Toshiba Canvio 500Gb started losing files with cyclic redundancy (CRC) check data error. Practically, this error means that you can write files to HDD, but you can't read them. Numerous checks, formats and low-level formats didn't help much.
