Summary: Worst ever small video recorder I have seen so far. Do not buy it unless it costs 25 bucks and you are planning to gift to a kid who can use it or break it you dont even care. The looks are neat and it is light weight but it records worst quality videos..my smart phone records better videos as compared to this Camileo device and do not even think about using the camera for still photos..its even worst. All in all its a waste.
Not worth time or $ - buy a camera and take video, will come out better.

Summary: This camcorder is the worst investment ever. Although you're only spending $80, the picture quality is less than that of an 8mm! It may be taking 720p videos, but its 720p of blur and just wastes your HDD space. I recommend spending the extra $200 and getting a camera that is worth your time and memories. Sorry Toshiba, you've lost me forever. How could you put this crap on the market?
Toshiba Camileo S20 Full HD Camcorder NOT IMPRESSED
23 February 2012
Summary: This camcorder was purchased for my 11 year old son, I read the conflicting reviews but was taken by the look and easy use of the camera, plus the battery was rechargeable. So we received the camera and initially looks good and comes with leads etc for charging and transferring your photos to the computer. Camera was simple enough to use taking photos and videoing.
Summary: I bought this because it supported 1080P video but the AVIs it produces at that definition are practically unusable. Even at 720 they are difficult to incorporate into your home movies. Low light shots are grainy and orange. I've gone back to using my Panasonic NC-GS-300 which is far superior to this camera. Consigned this one to a drawer in my desk. Waste of money.
Summary: I wish I hadn't wasted my money on this. What's the point of having a 1080HD output to TV when you can't remove the onscreen display that takes up about a quarter of the screen? What a bad design. I'm not that impressed with the picture quality anyway - my girlfriend's Flip video is much better.
Summary: Not happy with this product at all. There was no colour in the in the replay on any of the videos. No colour was shown on the display. The menu did not have much choice. Also it was fidgity to use.Best buy a known brand like sony, panasonic, jvc.
Summary: Am sure it's a great product other from the fact that if you own a mac there is no way to view your recordings!!! in 2011 I find it astonashing that Toshiba would not cater for the established and growing mac community!!!
Summary: Toshiba S20 is delightfully small and apart from small operating buttons seemed to offer everything I wanted but nowhere in the sales advertisements did it mention that it is not compatible with Apple Mac Computers. THIS IS A SERIOUS OMISSION and despite liking the camcorder it must be returned. What a pity.
Summary: If like me your computor system is Apple Macintosh and if you want to download your photos and movies for editing in I-Photo and I-Movie, then the Toshiba Camileo is not for you! Unless your prepared to fork out about £100 to run Windows 7 on your mac , Camileo does not work with Mac.
